Pain. Ever since the new King of the kingdom Solas has taken power, that's all the people know. Pain, suffering, and blood-shed. Most people are born with magic called the Gift, but yet, they are still helpless. The new king stole the kingdom from his brother and his brother's heir. The King's rules are enforced by his guards and assassins usually referred to as the Peace-Keepers. Ha! What an ironic name. They are anything but. They beat innocents, steal... well anything they desire, and cause trouble. They kill for fun and are perfectly tainted for the King's use. The King uses them often. To list all of the new king's evil deeds, would take too long but I assume you can imagine. But not all of the people cower in fear. Not all of the people let the Peace-Keepers or the king, have what they want. This... group is what is left of the old king's rule. They are led by the old King's loyal General who aims to put the true heir on the throne. They are the voice, shield and arm of the suffering commoners. They are the beacon of hope. They are...

What are the Ghosts?

The ghosts are, like mentioned above, protectors of the people. They commonly have what is know as the Gift. The Gift is magic, basically. The Ghosts are like an army, built up of fighters, spies, scouts etc. They commonly wear black or grey and usually wear a cloak. The sign of the Ghosts is an Almond Flower~ meaning hope. They live among the people but report to headquarters located in an Inn called the Thorny Rose. Their main job is to listen to the General to help put the prince on the throne.

"Oh my... I've never rally thought about it! Hang on. Okay... I guess I have a very... colorful personality. I am Bubbly, Shy, Protective, Fierce, Sweet and Easily Angered. I have abandonment issues and hate it when I seem or feel weak. I have an "evil" side that I only show when on a capture or assassination mission. If you are my prey I leave a swirled heart scorched into you skin just under your right ear. I know, I know those are just words... but I can't explain myself any other way. Maybe you just have to meet me for it to make sense."

History:
"Oh joy. This question... okay I will give you a quick summary of my past and the reason for my mental and physical scars. My father was a Knight under the old king and my mother was the daughter of a well-bred Noble family. I was born the last of seven daughters. My mother died shortly after my birth and my father became a drunk. He, with the aid of red-blood wine, was mean and was always angry- often expressing himself by getting violent in the local taverns. After the downfall of the old king, the new king sent his peace-makers to my family's estate. They killed everyone. They nearly killed me. My throat and stomach scars are the proof. Anyway, the Ghosts found me half-dead and I have been training as Ghost ever since. I often have nightmares about the day my family was murdered."

History: He has a sister - a sister who's with the New King. She is a Peace-Keeper, to be blunt. The siblings have different opinions on things, and always had. Their parents had divorced when he was ten and she was nine. He went with his father, she went with her mother. He lived the poorer life, she lived the richer life. Why? The women of their family sided the New King, the men despised their ruler. When one day, some time when Nick was twelve, a Peace-Keeper came and robbed Nick of his father, a Ghost came, and killed the Peace-Keeper before he could take Nick's life away. He was then taken to the Ghosts, and had been one since then, training hard for revenge.

She's jumpy, but is rather nice to most people. She's sensitive to what people say and do, but she can be strong in times of need. In any event, she's strong willed and tries to do her best no matter what happens.
History:
Well, she grew up like every other kid in the kingdom. She helped her dad at work most of the time and acted normal. It wasn't until she was twelve before she began to feel a little vulnerable and she kept to herself a bit more. Her dad was killed in a raid by the Peacekeepers and she joined the rebels in an effort to avenge her father's death. She's never been the same since.
