The Forgotten Pearl (Semi-Lit+ Pokemon Adventure, Accepting)

"Oh nothing." Anbu shrugged, then held out his paw for the bag. "I'll carry it if you want." he offered. He was a bit bigger than both of the Pokemon he had teamed up with. It looked like a strong team, though, there were some obvious weaknesses among them. Anbu was just happy to have a team to travel with. Soon, they would set out to find the pearl.

Damien smiled at some of his teamates ideas and laughed at others but the last one mentioned sounded quite good. "That actually sounds really good, plus it links us all. Like you said before, your name sounds like Sphynx and didn't egyptians use cats for alot of things?" He added, looking at the Meowth, Sora. "And I'm sure they used dogs." The little Poochyena added quickly. He then thought about a team leader. "And I think that Spark would make a great Team Leader, I mean you did come up with the Team Name." He smiled at the Shinx.

King snarled at the Growlithe, but said nothing. It was pointless to get in an argument, but he vowed to poison the dog pokemon before the pearl was found. Idiot. He thought. Then he noticed another Nidoran, obviously female. Huh, he'd think he'd notice her before. He opened his mouth to ask her to join his team, when she asked if he had a partner. She looked really nervous. He smiled.

"Nope. Wanna team up? I don't really wanna head out there alone." He couldn't imagine her going out and facing all the dangers of the forest if she was nervous just talking to another pokemon. Hey, be nice. He thought, his gaze flickering.

Queenie felt a smile spread across her face, "Sure I would like that, and um, what's your name?" She asked cocking her head, she could tell that he thought she wouldn't be able to go it alone. I'm not that weak, I'm just bad at talking. She thought to herself, But then again that's how they all think of me...

"My name's King, glad to have you on the team!" King smiled, twitching his ears in happiness. Then he noticed a Totodile staring off into distance a few feet away. "Come on, the bigger the team, the better we'll be!" He said cheerfully, padding up to the Totodile.

"Hey, you gotta team yet?" King was guessing the water pokemon didn't, as he was standing by himself, but just to be sure. A water pokemon would be an invaluable asset to their team. Who knows if they'd have to cross a river or something? King was a little suspicious, because what team leader didn't immediately think of water when they wanted to put together a team? He knew Totodile's could be a bit of a handful, but a Croconaw was a different story. Bone-crushing jaws and lighting-fast swimming? What more could you ask?

"I was hoping you'd catch on," Serenity said happily. She tugged the blue messenger bag off, but before handing it to Anbu, the Vulpix swiped the map. She winked at Anbu as she spread the map across the ground. "It appears that we have to go on either the red path or blue path to the first rest area," Serenity said, following the routes with her paw. "Says here that red means short and dangerous and blue is long and safer." Serenity studied the map some more. "Hmm.. I don't know which way we should go. What do you guys think?" the Vulpix asked her teammates.

Anbu gazed carefully at the map, slinging the bag over his shoulder as he did. Crouching down, he saw that the shorter path was just a forest. With two fire Pokemon, that shouldn't be a problem. "Hmm... With you and Dusk, I don't think we'd have a problem going through the short path, what do you think?" he asked.

"Yeah!" Sora exclaimed, "If Damien thinks it should be Team Pharaoh (This is how you spell it...) Then I think it should be too!" The Meowth exclaimed, bouncing a bit. "Spark, you should definitely be team leader." Sora grinned, his whiskers twitching at the Shinx.

Queenie followed King, skidding to a stop she smiled at the totidile. "Would you?" she asked, as if to emphasize what he had said. "We could use some variation in our team, seeing as me and King here are both poison type." she said, it was much easier for her to talk when she had someone next to her to back her up. She sat and cocked her head at the totidile as she awaited his answer.

The little Poochyena smiled and wagged his tail. "Team Pharaoh, the best team in the world of Pokemon!" He barked excitedly. His cry probably wouldn't be right and they probably wouldn't become the best team and probably won't find the pearl but he'd be sure to give it his best try and give it everything he's got. Damien looked at Spark and waited for his reply, surely he should think of them voting him as leader as a very grateful and proud thing to do.
