I yawn softly and flop on my bed, soon curling up into sleep.

"Miss Akantha is nice. She doesn't make us work much." Hitomi said quietly. "Her family's always helped their slaves." She added. "Very kind people."

I yawn softly and sit at my violin chair, picking up the delicate instrument. The bow saws over it and sweet, haunting notes spill. I sing while it happens.
