Okay, so a little update on the guy I like
Today we had to do a project
and he asked for my help to do something, instead of the girl sitting right next to him which was slightly odd
but our hands touched a lot
also
he told me the other day, that he noticed that I say "okay" a lot
{ I've noticed I do, whenever someone tells me to do something or if I sit down at a table, i often just say "okay" and then follow with "let's do...blah blah" - it's not some weird speech thing, it's just sort of a habit } anyway... he NOTICED? Like, he had to be paying kind of close attention to me to notice something like that.
he does seem to smile and make eye contact with me a lot, but unfortunately I find myself getting kind of nervous around him and slip on my words or make a mindless mistake in whatever we're working on, ect, and it's just..annoying/embarrassing..
Also, I blush REALLY easily. Even the slightest thing can make me a little red in the cheeks and it's just..ugh.
I can't help it.

so yep that's my rant. if anyone has any tips, opinions, anything - please mention. ~ (:

anyways, i'm going to try to be as straight forward as possible.
so, how do you tell a guy you do not know very well that you like him?
like word phrasing suggestions would be great; especially not awkward ones.
also, although i go to an all-girls school, a lot of the guys from our brother school [where my crush goes], are asking girls to prom in such cute ways.
i wish someone would ask me, too.

I totally feel your pain with the whole prom thing. Gah, it's so cute. I've had multiple people get asked right in front of me in the most adorable ways. But hey, if it happens for you then it happens and congrats! If not, it won't matter in 10 years anyway!

Anyway..telling a guy you like him. Hm. I'm probably that one girl that when she likes a guy, I beat around the bush until he has no choice but to come out and say he likes me first because I drop so many obvious hints. xD
So in my opinion, asking him first if he likes someone, in almost a joking way may get him to admit something, or at least get on the topic so that you can kind of ease into what you want to say. The best way to do this is act like you don't even know what awkward is- like if a conversation drops off in a really odd time, just pick it back up and act like it never happened. That's what I do, and everything seems to work out. Also, if you mess up and say something and by chance get rejected or something along those lines, just play it off like you were just messing with them.

But back to the actual statement of saying that you like them, you could just flat out say. "You know I like you, right?" or "I like you." If you wanted to be really bold. Depending on the guy, they might give you huge kudos and be all over you for being so bold! But if you don't want to do something like that, then maybe say something like.. "I bet you can't guess who I like." and see what they say. Sometimes though, saying that you like someone isn't exactly necessary. Sometimes it shows more in actions, and other gestures and words that you don't even need to say it for them to ask you out!
Either way I hope all goes well. (:

So I like this guy and he's kind of sending me mixed signals. It often seems like he's trying to ignore me (I know he doesn't hate me), but them he'll randomly make an awkward attempt at conversation. I see him talking to other girls and he's normal, but around me he's like extra awkward or shy or something.
Anyone know what could be the cause?

Oh, I bet he likes you! Sometimes guys really don't know how to act around a girl that they like. They don't know what to say, how often they should look at you and he's probably thinking "oh gosh I hope she doesn't think I'm weird. I better not say blah blah ect ect". I'd simply just be really sweet to him, and initiate conversation, trying to hold some eye contact and smiling. Hopefully he'll loosen up a bit more. Best of luck to you! (:

Hey everyone so I have some issues. Well I have liked this guy for a super long time, and haven't told any of my friends, not even my best friend cause things like this she can't seem to keep her mouth shut. Well anyway a week ago I was deciding if I should tell her or not. Well she ended up telling me that she likes him before I could tell her that I like him. So now whenever I talk/hangout or something with him she always tries o join in. Like the other day she told me to back off in a friendship best friend way. She still doesn't know I like him.... I am just scared she will end up dating him...the thing is is that he flirts with me...but now he doesn't as much since my best friend. And we have a huge trip in my school this weekend to a whole new state and such so maybe I could interact or do something there. I don't know I need help

Any advice for this girl? I think this boy I used to like, I'll call him E, likes me now. Whenever I look up at him, he is looking at me. He always tries to get my attention, whether its poking me, saying my name, or even just talking to me. When in gym and sitting near the whiteboard he sits behind me and pokes me in the back with his foot or near/next to me. When we sit next to eachother, he always talks to me and a lot. Is it possible he likes me? He had his chance earlier in the year, and he blew it. What I'm most worried about is if I still like him. I'm so comfortable yet nervous around him. I stutter and I mumble, and I always feel like I'm blushing. The thing is, next year we are going to different schools. Help?

Well, it seems like he does like you by the things he does, but you should also take into account the way he acts around other girls and people in general. You never know, he could just be friendly in general and do that to everyone. I'm sorry that I can't really help with the nervousness around him. :3 A lot of people are nervous around people they like and behave differently. Just try to loosen up, and don't think so much that he'll judge you or remember it if you blush. If it makes you feel better, try going up to talk to him with a friend. It'll make things a lot less scary. ^^ For you guys going to different schools, I'm not going to lie, but it does make things a little harder. If you guys can still see each other periodically or can communicate through other means then you should be fine though.

So, there are 2 people in my class, let's call them C (The boy) and H (The girl), and they were dating for like 1-2 years now. Out of all the many, many couples in my class, they were amongst my favourite, they just looked so great together and loved each other! But guess what, one of the boys in my class said to me and my friend outside, "Did you hear that H and O (A different boy) are going out?" Mey friend was just like, "Really?? H and O!?" I was gobsmacked. Once the boy was gone, this is a short conversation me and my friend had;
"H-H-H??? But isn't she with C?" and I was like 'Oh no!! Not them!!' inside my head.
"Hmm, they either broke up or H is cheating on C" She was getting very excited at the cheating part. I was thinking, 'no way!'
And well I suggested I spoke to O's best friend to see how much of it's true, but before that when I was away, my friend asked C about it. Guess what?
Because H is a real and utter tomboy, people were calling C a gay and stuff like that, and gave him a challenge either to brake up with her within 2 days (2 days ago today) or to brake up with her for 2 days... Something like that. He loves her too much, so he thought he'd pretend to brake up with her, but he didn't tell her about it... So he 'broke up' with her, and she thought it was for real. That happened 2 days ago. Now she's already going out with someone else (O) and C is distraught... I can't look at his depressed face! I know I'm poking my nose into other people's buisnesses, but... I can't believe how much I miss them two together.

I need to do something. I could always brake up O and H (It might take the whole week but I will get there!), try to get C and H together... I do have experience (My other friend has had 16-17 brakes up with one guy and I was there in 15 of them, I had to say this and that to the guy and everything). Oh I don't know! All I know is that next week are REALLY important tests, and it's going to bother me if they are apart... *Cries* I really need to do something, I can't just sit and watch them split apart!

Just to add: We are practicing songs for a show we are going to do in a few months, 'Night of the Musicals' where we sing songs from musicals. Another couple I like is R (Boy) and L (Girl), and we were practicing 'Don't Stop Believing' (IDK, by Glee or Journey??) and it was adorable because L was singing the girl parts and R was singing the boy parts and then they sounded beautiful together on the both parts. Then 'Can you feel the love tonight' by Elton John came on with C just looking at H, which I thought was just sad They'd be like R and L if not for their brake up! I'm ripped, so sad :'C

Vince: He's really nice, and quite a jokester. (Though most of the jokes are so inapropriate xD) And we get along okay. But today he was upset about something, and I'm not sure what. He left during 6th hour, and I'm worried it had something to do with his diabetes. Probably not, and I hope it wasn't. He is fun to hang with, but he's the 'popular' one, and has a 9th grader girlfriend. Everybody likes him, and I have no chances.

Jordan: He's really nice to me, but I think he has a girlfriend. Unless I was imagining. He cheers me on in softball during gym class, we talk quite alot, and we can be really good parteners. Even when I'm down, he makes me feel better. I wonder why he's so nice, even though he declined my asking? Maybe because he's just feeling okay around me now, or maybe I was too forward and a little too cliche asking him, when he should've asked me if he wanted..

Maybe next year I can decide who I really like the most.

But..

I'm so torn right now. Help?

I'd go with Jordan, if Vince has a girlfriend it might be harder to get him, and Jordan seems nicer.

Well hello. People are being so stupid to me. My friend D likes me and everyone keeps asking if were secretly dating.
1) were literly BEST friends
2) who cares weather we date or not!

So anyways. Can someone help me with something to say to them when they ask. I dont want to come off like we are, or that im mad/and or pissed off. (Even though i am)
