Xander was surprised when a girl had stepped forward out of the bushes. He was expecting another fox or something but never a girl. He noticed that she had golden eyes, blonde hair, and fox ears. He stared at her for a moment before walking through the water to the bank where she was.

Emiko watched Xander with peircing eyes, her face revealing no emotions. Her ear twitched as she studied him, wondering who he was. "Who are you?" she questioned.

"My name is Xander" He said calmly trying to seem polite," Can I ask who you are?"

He watched her noticing that she was watching him with no emotions showing on her face. He was good at hiding his emotions but he wasn't any where as good as her. There was no telling what she was planning or thinking.

Martino Mouse

Animals of the woodlands weren't the only thing accompanying Martino, there wasn't a hint of doubt in young mouse mind. He moved ahead in the direction of the commotion, his sharp ears picking up the distinctive voices of at least two individuals. They're tones didn't appear to be hostile, but Martino kept a careful attitude concerning the situation, the last thing he needed was too be out numbered against unwelcoming new faces. Eventually, he discovered the two figures along the rivers edge. They were humans, or so they appeared. The mouse squinted his eyes to discover that the girl had two triangular shapes resting on her head, ears perhaps. The two didn't seem a threat, and with reluctance, Martino left the dirt lane he had been traveling by for days, in the direction of the stream. "Hello there friend! The young mouse cried out warmly, his voice laden with a strong Irish accent. Better to make one known then act as a spying stranger.. Martino reasoned silently to himself, as he raised a paw in a friendly greeting.

Adonai spied a new arrival. He seemed to be in the form of a... large rodent, and, considering there were alot of shape-shifters, half humans, and just weird animal types in general, Adonai had no idea what to expect. Drifting down slowly, bow still gripped in her right hand, she landed in front of Martino with a small thump. Glancing at him impassively, though maybe with a bit of suspicion, Adonai asked -no, demanded-, twirling her bow in the weird zig-zag pattern. "Who are you, strange rodent?" Recalling the sentence she had heard him call out a few seconds earlier, she revised her sentence. "Strange, talking rodent?" She bent down until she was Martino's height, even though he was not small. "And why have you come to this village? For food? Shelter? A place to stay?" She eyed him. "Or a place to sabotauge?" Her gold eyes glittered, staring at Martino.

"Emiko." She said, silently studying Xander. Emiko' s hands reached for the arrows she had strapped to her back, pulling one out and stringing it in the bow, turning and aiming it at the newest arrival. Her eyes narrowed.

Pax raised a hand to wave back at Lizza, but put it back down again at the girl's invitation. She took a moment to glance around, as if trying to figure out why she hadn't already thought of that. The crossbreed then stood and brushed her skirt off. "I suppose so. I don't have anything else to do." she explained, and walked up the the girl.
