The Tom let out a purr of amusement, moving his tail to tickle Cherrykit. "Very good!" Falconheart phraised, nuzzling the kits head gently. "Your already a warrior in the making!" He added. "Oh boy will I envy your mentor! Such a strong young apprentice you will make." He finished, giving a nod of approval. "Now lets see that warrior crouch!" Falconheart teased, wiggling his back end in the air.

Cherrykit purred, glowing with the praise. Suddenly she began to back away. "B-but dad said I wasn't allowed to learn anything until I was apprenticed." she said nervously, wondering how much she had already broken the rule.

As the kit backed away, Falconhearts head tipped to te side. Not allowed to learn simple moves? Who was her father? Leaning back on his thighs the Bengal Tom sat. "Yet how would a small kit like you know how to perform a paw strike such as that?" He questioned, his left ear flicking a bit. But the question still remained. "Who is your father?" He questioned suddenlu.

Ashfoot purred at this new information," I'd be a bit let down if you didn't," she replied before leaning up and licking his nose.

"R-Raccoonmask and Sparkflame were going to teach me, but the Dad came and said no." She flinched a little at the second question, unsure if that was accusation she heard. "My daddy's Flintbreeze and he's one of the best warriors ever." she said fiercely, looking up at Falconheart with earnest eyes. "And he won't let me learn and he won't let Nutkit or Redkit learn either. Please don't tell him I used a move I learned, I don't think he wants me to." She crouched a little, making herself small under the expected wrath for learning before she was supposed to.

"I am." Flintbreeze growls from behind the tom. "Is there a problem?" He asks, stalking and grabbing Cherrykit's scruff, dropping her with Sundhine, glaring at the warrior on the floor.

Sundapple whimpers, curling tighter around her kits.

Brokenstar purrs, nuzzling her and pressing his nose against her's.

"Flintbreeze." Raccoonmask growls. "She is fine. No blood was shed! She was just playing!" He snarls, same amber eyes as Brokenstar.

Cherrykit flattened her ears in shame at being carried two tail-lengths to the nest where Sunshine was sleeping. She just wanted to curl up in a corner and vanish when Raccoonmask defended her. Why couldn't she do anything right?

Just as a growling Tom came up from behind Cherrykit, a black female entered the den. She was smaller than Falconheart, but had the same lean, skinny build to her. The noise had gotten rather noisy in Jinxshade's mind, so she had come to tell them to shush. But seeing a male growling at her brother ticked her off. Ears pinned back, Jinxshade hissed. "Leave my brother alone you flea-brain." Jinxshade warned, her black pelt fluffe up. "Jinxshade... It's fine." Her brothers caring vice came from behind her, as a friendly body nuzzled her from the side.

Racoonmask snarls, claws sliding from massive paws. He hisses, narrowing his eyes to slits.

Cherrykit whimpered, frightened by all the angry cats and hating herself because she was sure it was all her fault. She huddled into Sunshine's belly, feeling reassured as Sunshine half-woke and curled around her and her brothers protectively.
