Styles couldn't help but wonder what was underneath Omega, she had never ventured down there herself, and knew that it was likely to be even worse than topside. But the mercs would be after them soon enough, and she would rather risk herself following this turian down underneath the station's ground, than staying up and having to fight for her dear life. Even if she had to admit that the turian's remark had been true, she enjoy fighting, especially when it proved whether or not you had the skill to fight. She always wanted to improve her fighting abilites, and she knew that fighting people against the odds was a good and quick way to enhance your skills. Though this did not make her a fool, and she knew better than to stay around. So seconds after the turian scaled down the ladder leading to the depths, she followed, along with Jarrid. In which the ladder slightly creeked under the weight of the Krogan. Jarrid was large and bulky, even by Krogan standards. He always wore a heavy armor suit, which Stules knew she wouldn't be able to handle. She was not good with heavy things, and she only wore light armor, that kept her protected, but at the same time let her able to move freely and keep her agility in check. As much as she loved fighting, she knew that she was far from the physically strongest member of most teams. But she was light, and quick, able to give her any advantage against slow and clumsy enemies.
As they started to make their way down through the maze which was the underground of Omega the Turian introduced himself as Felix. Styles didn't really care what his name was, but even she had enough manners to tell him her own name is response. "I am Styles," she admitted, weary of giving him anymore information than he needed to know. "This brute here is Jarrid." That earned her a snort from the Krogan, but she didn't care. As Felix continued on, saying that it would be a fair walk to get back, she rolled her eyes briefly. She was beginning to get annoyed with all of this, but she knew that she would do what was needed to make sure that she got back home safe. "Oh okay, do you want to hold our hands too, make sure that we don't wander?" There was sarcasm in her voice (like always.) Even though her common sense told her not to irritate Felix in any way possible, she couldn't help it. There must have been something in her genes that made her naturally sarcastic, and unable to stop being so, unless she wasn't taking at all. It was just the way that she was, and others would have to deal with that.
The Prothean didn't speak anymore, until Felix brought up about Cerberus. She knew that they had been the people that had atempted to 'buy' her. She still didn't know what they had wanted with her, but she really didn't want to find out. She heard what had been said about that group, while evesdropping on random civilizans that came into Afterlife. They were a group of humans that in a simple way of saying it, thought that humans deserved more. They were considered to be terrorists, and dangerous to aliens, and she knew that, that included her. She didn't want to be captive by people who probably wanted her for some cynical plan to make the humans stronger. Since she had been awakened she had seen nothing but the bad side of humanity, and thought of them to be nothing more than a threat to aliens everywhere. She figured that not all of them had to be like Cerberus, that some of them wanted peace with all the aliens, and were fine with what they were given now. But she wasn't going to go out of what her instincts told her, and trust humans. She was grateful that she was not relying on a human for help, because she wasn't sure if she would even be able to get the minor trust needed to guide them out of here. "Considering that they tried to buy me from some mercs, I think that it's only logical that I hate them as well. The bunch of vermin they are," her voice was soured with pure hatred. She was glad that the Turian hated them as well, or at least said he did. It made her slightly more relaxed.
Styles came to a hault when the alarms came on, and Felix held up a hand to tell them to stop. As he fiddled around with his omni-tool, she watched as he accessed the terminal inside. There were a couple of Cerberus agents, and a human. She made a tight fist in her to make her stop from charging on through, and attacking them, three on one. That would be idiotic though, and instead she held her place. Listening in on their conversation her chest tightened when she heard that they were indeed looking for her, she figured that 'Mr. Talibus' was Felix, and that they were looking for him as well. So they were after her and Felix, the nerve. She had figured that something like this might happen, that Cerberus wouldn't quite be finished with her, they were looking for her. Styles had her answer of why they were looking for her though, they wanted to learn more about the Reapers. As much as she wanted to make sure that the Reapers stayed away from all these new races here now, she wasn't about to sumit herself to Cerberus' services though. They would probably kill her after all the information was extracted from her. Dammit! I've got to make sure that they don't find me. I've got to get out of here.. I've got to go.. Well.. I've got to go somewhere! I'm not just going to wait around like a target and be taken by them! The only way that they'll ever capture me is when I'm dead. Which ain't gonna happen for awhile.
She was a bit zoned out when Felix was talking about getting them off of Omega altogether. It was one thing to trust someone with getting to out of mercenary territory, it was another thing to entrust them to follow through with a plan that he would likely develop. For all she knew he could be working with Cerberus, and this was all a well put on show. Something in her gut told her that this wasn't the case though, that the Turian was being hunted down like she was, that if they didn't find someway to get their sorry little asses off Omega that they would come to regret it. "We live in a small base down at the East side of the Living quaters." She told him, regretting it as she did, but wanting to try and trust him to get them back to their home. "But tell me something Mr. Talibus," she sneered as she spoke in the same tone that the human had when she said his name. "What should make us trust you to follow through? I don't even know you, and yes as much as I thank your help when you came what makes you think that I'll trust you to help get be off of Omega?" It was a valid question, and she waited with a narrowed response for his answer.
