Originally an alicorn is the horn of a unicorn, really it is. MLP is the only I know who call winged unicorns "alicorns"...

I personally call winged unicorns... "Winged unicorns" XD

Same here, I would just say winged unicorns or pegasus unicorns. xD All of the name combinations people have come up with sound so weird to me.

Personally, I call winged unicorns pegacorns, but I live In a household that likes to combine animal names for entertainment.
