Unfortunately, not really. We feel like the old 6 month requirement was too low (mainly because almost anyone could adopt then), and being on Chickensmoothie for at least a year will at least guarantee some solid experience in the game. However, if you really feel like you have knowledge to be an adopter, there is the Underage Adopter process you can go through if you would like. C:

I've been on CS for a while but the beginning of this thread said that's ok. It is right? I really need help, I realized I don't know nearly enough to get around.

My sister quit CS about the time I joined and gifted me several valuable pets, and I don't really know what they are or what to do with them. Roleplaying is not an absolute need, I am not bad at it I don't think, I'm just sort of stuck in a rut and unable to improve and would like a little bit of training. I would also like to learn more in the areas of forums, bb code, rarities and rares list, but they are not quite as urgent to me.

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: From my sister who though it was fun, but was not a member very long due to not having enough time for it with school and what not. She has so far been unable to help me very much...
What do you like best so far?: The roleplaying, because it is more active than most sites, and the excitement of seeing all the new outcomes of the pets each day.

They will contact you as soon as they receive their notification about your adoption, and will hopefully be able to help you out with all your questions.
If they don't contact you in a timely manner [that is, a week] or there are other problems you have with them [you don't understand their explanations, they're being rude, anything like that], you can tell us, and if you want, we'll assign you a new adopter. Simply shoot any of the staff a PM or post here, we'll help you as fast as we can ;3
