Ah, well, I feel that she had a headband actually under the wig, and she bolted the horns on (I believe by screws)through the headband and wig. So, the head band is UNDER the wig. You can't see the headband, because the horns are bolted onto the headband through the wig. The one issue about this process would be the bolt ends? They'll give you goose eggs on the side of your head if you don't put any sort of padding on them. She happened to use tampons, but if you find some other thing to make it softer on your head, great! If you'd like a picture of what it looks like finished & on a cosplayer, I can PM that to you too. uvu

When I did my Tavros cosplay I had a ton of help from my friends. His horns were probably the hardest thing about the whole cosplay to be honest. I tried doing the whole head band thing but it looked weird. Since I wasn't going to use the wig again so like Feferi said in the post above we screwed the horns on with the band underneath the wig. It was frustrating.. As for the extra lumps I managed to use toilet paper. It hid most of it...

On the topic of cosplay, I haven't exactly done much cosplaying YET. I've been a cowgirl Vriska for a 4/13 meet, and my friends stuck me in a Karkat cosplay. I don't have a cosplay that's entirely my own though. My friend that owns the Vriska is thinking about letting me use it a lot, considering she doesn't like cosplaying Vriska aside from TinkerVris.
I think I'm gonna go buy a Roxy wig at somepoint, and my friends are retiring the Karkat wig, and they offered to style it for Kanaya for me. I'm super excited; both Roxy and Kanaya will be a lot of fun to do! uvu
Ahh bless them what awesome friends.
What about you guys? Do you have finished cosplays/ones you're looking forward to?

Dibs.
B)
But, seriously. How does cosplay even work? (I know how it works that was a rhetorical question) Never tried it. There aren't any cons around me. BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.

I'd fight you for it, but it's not worth it. As long as the layout is pretty. And I think it would be cool if like the first ten posts were used for something. And so when other people posted it would be on a completely new page? I don't know.
That's how I used to do things. B'I.
