Damon looked completely confused but wasn't able to voice anything further as Charlie whisked him away.

Charlie slips out the door Damon left open and runs with him down the hall. His dad hot on his heels. Though, charlie quickly loses him and hides in a closet. he locks it and sits Damon in the corner. "I told you to run." he says in a whisper.

Damon nodded and whispered back," and I told you I'm never leaving you..."

"Sometimes you have to. if you had died . . ." Charlie looks like he might cry.

Damon pulled Charlie into a hug nad held him tightly as he whispered," then I would have died happily knowing that I tried to help you rather then feeling guilty that I ran away and let you die instead..".

"I would have died anyway, even if I had gotten away from him." Charlie says softly.

"Whys that?" Damon asked softly.

[Will I Live]

"I wouldn't want to live without you. I couldn't live without you." Tears escaped Charlie's eyes.

Damon gently wiped away Charlies tears with the pad of his thumb. "shh...Oh Carlie.." he said softly, his own tears falling past his cheeks.

"I can't help but love you," Charlie says resting his head on Damon's shoulder. "I want you safe."
