I had an AMAZING day!

My entire 8th grade class went to Six Flags for a field trip, and my boy friend and I spent the entire day together.

And, on the way back to the busses, he put his arm around me and kissed me!

At first, I was stunned, and then it sank in, and I couldn't stop smiling! It was no doubt the best day EVER!

But Friday's the school dance, wish me luck! XD.

It hurts when your friends and crush talk about your crush's previous crush... Especially since you are all still friends with her and she is an amazing, beautiful person...
I posted here about a week and a half ago asking if anyone could help me write a letter I could send over text to tell my crush I like him.
So I haven't gotten a good chance to tell Pickle (I found out yesterday that his grandparents call him Pickle, so that's what I'll call him now) that I like him in months, so I figured I should just text him or something.
But whenever I go to write a text, I just end up thinking what I have written is ridiculous and stupid. Harsh self critic. So I was wondering if any of you could be of help?
I'll probably be texting him soon-ish (by Tuesday) to see if he's decided whether or not he's going to come on vacation with my family or not, so I'm hoping to segue into telling him I like him when that happens.
We don't text really at all unless one of us wants to make or confirm plans with the other, neither of us are really good at keeping a text conversation going on.
Anyways, if any of you have any help, that would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise I guess I'll just wing it or something. Either way, I'll tell you all how it turns out!

he's so shy that people stand around his locker and he doesn't say excuse me.
he just waits until they leave.

but he's cute. and into stuff i like.
and i'm not sure if he knows i like him, but his friend told him i do and he was all like "no way".
but i'm not sure if he knows i'm the girl his friend was talking about.
and i have no idea how he said "no way". like people say it differently ;x;
my friend keeps telling me to talk to him but it doesn't help that i'm shy and awkward too...ugh.

and by the way i've never talked to him, if you haven't already guessed.
he's always been on my bus and i never really looked at him "that" way until earlier this year.

Just me ranting, don't mind me. If you want to read my other posts about him then just search "Coty".

I'm sorta starting to miss him. My friend who's a senior decided he was gonna force me to walk down the hall with him, and he had his arm around my shoulders. And I know Coty saw it. I haven't talked to him in over a month. I haven't talked to him since my birthday I believe, which was the 22nd of March, and that was barely anything. We sent maybe five, if that, texts back and forth. I miss him, and I don't. Everyone says he's annoying, but I don't know. I don't have any classes with him since he's a year older, so I don't really know how he behaves in classes. He was just what I wanted in a guy sometimes.
Whenever he got protective, it was just so cute. I don't know. I see him everyday, and sometimes I catch him looking at me. I don't know whether he misses me or not. :/ I doubt it, cuz he probably would've texted me by now. Or maybe not. *sigh* I just don't know what to do. The other day I considered texting him to see what would happen, but I don't wanna be the one to break first. We didn't fight or anything, we just...stopped talking. I would almost always have to text him first too. I just don't know what I wanna do about the situation. I guess I'll just keep waiting and see if anything ever happens.

Well, I would say that the best thing to do is probably to get as comfortable around him as possible. If you can't tell him how you feel right now then just remain his friend and talk to him (I'm not sure how difficult that would be in your situation though). It may be scary, but you don't have to do it alone. Maybe just hang around his group of friends and find common interests that you share which a conversation could be started upon.

And another thing you could do if you really wanted to know if he liked you. If you have a mutual friend, you could also consider sending him/her to talk to this person and saying something along the lines of "hey, don't tell ___ I asked you this, but do you like her?" Or if you think that that's a bit abrupt, you could change it around a bit and word it differently. xD But as a forewarning, if you do decide to do something like this, only choose a friend you really do trust. Another thing you could do is to talk to this person through text or another media like Facebook, assuming they have one. Doing that also may also help increase the comfort level, but remember that an online relationship can never replace an actual one in real life. So although these things may help, I would still suggest talking to him in person.

I used to like a shy guy too, so I'll see if I can help you with this as well. c:

If you can't talk to him straight up, then try to say "hi" and smile at him when you guys see each other, like when you get onto the bus. In this situation, however, I would suggest not cornering him during lunch or anything. xD If you know some of the people he usually hangs out with, you can also join his group of friends and participate in a group conversation with him. That way you guys could get to know each other and become more comfortable. Another thing you could try is talking to him on the bus when you first get on. You could simply say "hi" while walking past him or even sit in a seat next to his and strike up a conversation about school or the classes you guys are taking.

Don't lose heart if he said "no way" when his friend asked him. Even I do that sometimes when I like someone but just don't want them or others to know.
