everything is not as it seems. this is an asylum from the insane. they're not trying to help us.
nobody can stand us anymore, so they've dumped us all on some island in the Pacific somewhere.

we can't go home.
we'll never go home.
many have tried, but some end up back inside, or they dont-
but they never made it to the boat to go back either.

If that didn't sum it up for you, JMDs are being transported to Tempest Island due to.... complications.
They all have different issues, diseases, mental states, whatever. But they're each here for some reason.
