i don't mind as far as anthro v. quad, so you decide that.
as for place, how about your average city?
but would you like small town or like a large scale new york city type place?

Roshni walked out of her trailer and watched the morning sun. It was bright, and being a yellow jewel, she had an affinity to it, but also due to the speckles representing fireflies, she had an affinity to dark forests on a hot summer night where she could have her light, fireflies, and peace. She took a walk down the sidewalk, going to the cafe nearby in order to grab some nice breakfast; she felt tired to make herself something.

[ Now I need to figure out where to set him up... should they meet at the cafe? ]

Tobias walked with an easy stride down the narrow and crooked pavement that wound it's way through the city like an immobile snake. He kept his focus on the ground beneath him as the morning sunlight beat down on him unforgivingly, causing him to feel like he was slowly being fried in his clothing. He pushed a strand of his hair out of his eyes, trying not to look all that messy in the morning even though he could just slump over and be out like a light. Maybe some coffee will help.. he thought, taking a turn to his right to get to the small cafe he went to every morning he felt like he just didn't want to get out of bed. He notices a girl making her way to the cafe as well and he quickly reached the door, wanting to be a gentlemen and he propped it open with his foot. "After you," he says, nodding inside briefly in a nonchalant way and a small grin.

"Well, what do we have here?" said Roshni, a slight hint of seductive in her voice. "A gentleman, is what we have. Thanks." She walked through the door, pushing it so he could come inside too. Her dark blue dots and coloring was subtle in the midst of her black fur, but it was noticeable nonetheless. Her yellow jewel glowed ever so slightly as she stood in line, looking up at the cafe menu to see what she should get for the morning: to get her through the day.

Tobias smirked momentarily and gave a brief bow to play along with her words before thanking her as she pushed the door open slightly so he could walk in after her. "Welcome," he replied, filing in line behind her to order his drink to get the day started; or at least to survive the day without falling asleep halfway through it. He ran his fingers through his 'mohawk' to get it messier looking instead of gelled and ended up with a lock of hair in his face. "I think it's your turn to order, miss..?" he said, ending in a question for her name as he glanced to her before back up at the cafe's menu.

Roshi laughed a second. Her laugh was eccentric, different. Maybe it was a little lower pitched, or maybe a little higher. But whatever the difference was, it sounded unique. "Observant and a gentleman," she said, stepping slowly yet gracefully up to the counter. She order a coffee along with a croissant to eat and quickly paid. She stood to the side, waiting for her coffee when she raised an eyebrow saying, "I believe it's your's now."

(Sorry for not replying in a while, I've been extremely busy with school work. :T)

Tobias gave her a quick, charming smile and took note of her laugh despite how fast it had disappeared. "Why thank you," he replied with a small tilt of his head in a pleasant way while he slipped his hands into his jean pockets, absentmindedly folding the dollar bills in his pocket between his fingers. He noticed her side-step away with her purchase and gave a small smirk at the comment as he said, "I believe so.." before stepping forwards with a strong stride. He simply ordered a frappe and nothing more, generally not having enough time to eat between the day when it came to breakfast. He paid and fell into step beside her as he asked, "And you name is?"
