Hawktalon sighed and lashed his tail. "Hawktalon and Flamepelt go on a border patrol!" Yarrowstar meowed. Hawktalon nodded and bounded after his brother.

Loner: Leaf

Leaf made something like a bird skeleton, but not a kit.She sighed. "Guess I need more bones." She padded out to the stream and looked down, watching for a fish.

Hawktalon sighed. He let Flamepelt take the led. I just hope we don't run into her, he thought.

Loner: Leaf

Leaf's paw shot out. She hooked something, something big. Leaf put her free paw in to help. "I caught a large carp! Great!" She yowled in triumph. "You're not getting away this time!" Leaf brought the slippery fish ashore, and killed it. She ate half of it, too full to eat the rest.

Flamepelt heard a yowl. He hissed and stalked forward. He crouched and peered from behind a bush to see a she-cat. He growled softly.

Hawktalon gulped noticing that he couldn't save Leaf now. Well she did yowl, a voice whispered in his head. Hawktalon sighed and crouched down beside his brother.

Loner: Leaf

Leaf searched for the biggest bone, which was pretty large for a fish. She picked it out and washed it off. Leaf padded back into her burrow and placed the bone in her prey-bone pile.

Flamepelt stalked forward. He stood by the tunnel that lead into the den. He snorted softly hoping to draw out the she-cat. Hawktalon listened his brother and stayed in the bushes to surprise attack her but he knew he wouldn't attack her.

Leaf's ear flicked. Was that snorting? She thought. Someone's here! Leaf hid all the bones under her nest before crawling up the tunnel. She froze before she reached the entrance. Should I go outside...?

Flamepelt lashed his tail and huffed. HE looked over at Hawktalon flicking his tail so the other tom would get ready to pounce if she got past Flamepelt.

Leaf decided her mind. She yowled and bolted through the entrance, crashing into Flamepelt and spitting. "What do you want from me?!" She snarled.
