Why can't you just smile and be happy like everyone else's mom? Its because of me isn't it? I just never do things right, the way you want it, and I'm always a failure. I wish we could have been together longer, maybe enjoyed everything as it was before we get older. We never got a chance to do a lot of things, which I regret, but the times we had were most certainly the best times I've ever had with anyone. I can say that I remember you in the smallest things. Remember that thing you used to do with your phone? Flipping it around? Well I do that now. It's a habit. It painful because every time I do it all I think of is YOU. I'll never forget those times we just cuddled and played Skyrim together, or when we watched 500 Days Of Summer and you laughed at the stupidest things. I even miss those awkward times, or when you asked permission to hug me because you were nervous. I remember that time we just looked into each other's eyes and intertwined our fingers, laughing and blushing at each other like two flipping idiots. I'll never forget those times.
I even remember back when we were best friends in 1st and 2nd grade. We were so young, and you had a little-boy crush on me. When you told me that, I thought that was adorable.
Sometimes I lay in my bed and think about you. I pretend we're still together, being silly and weird like old times. But then I jump back to reality and realize that we're not together anymore. That we're both just alone and we don't even talk.
I just hope that someday you'll forgive me for not trying to save our relationship. Thanks for being there for me. I hope someday we'll meet again, my love.
