[Foal The Winnie]

My Entry for JBD #455, (fingers crossed, could be my first JBD)

Short story: Spring is here and that means everything to Damsel, the flowers blooming, the lush green leaves, the smells and the baby animals, it's the best time of the year to her, she springs and hops about her woodland home, giving a kind and courteous nod as she passes a mother fox and her litter of cubs , the smell of honey suckle is sweet and thick and the trees are waving in the cool morning breeze,
Damsel can't help but smile at them as she watches the patterns of light dance through the scrolling leaves, as she continues to skip towards the river, the calm cool waters are calling to her, surrounded with that luscious smell of blackberry’s that she's waited so long for.

She finds the perfect spot, a small bramble hedge laden with berries, right next to the river,
she curls up on the grass bank, her tail slowly bobbing on the surface of the water and her beautiful coat glistens as she lays in the welcoming rays of the sun, and picks the berries of the nearby bramble with her claws, she can't help but think how wonderful the world looks in spring time.

A family of ducks paddle past and she giggles at the last duckling trying so hard to keep up, his funny little flat feet franticly wobbling in the waves of his siblings. This is the best she thinks, the relaxing warmth of the sun on her sparkling coat, the cool feel of the rippling river water on her fluffy tail, the taste of the first blackberries. All these amazing senses cause her to nod off, into a deep relaxing and tranquil sleep

I know my art style is vry simple and most of the enrties for JBD #455 are just breath taking, but I thought more people would like this, ho hum never mind, I'll keep working harder to impress you all with something amazing =D
