Mya walked to him, and hugged him. "Maria's still sick."

Trinity hugged him.

"I'll go check on her." Mason said, half way out the door when he finished his sentence. He walked downstairs to Maria's room. "Hey, baby girl." He said, sitting on the bed by her. He gently rubbed her back how he used to when she got sick as a kid.

Lucas kissed her head. "I love you."

Maria woke up. "Hi, Daddy," she said.

"I hear you're still sick. Why haven't you come in to get medicine?" Mason asked. "Baby girl, you need to take care of yourself. Sometimes Nyquil and Dayquil aren't enough." He said.

Lucas walked her back into the room. "There's Papa." He said.

"I know," she said, and sighed. "I just... I don't want to get a shot. I don't like them. I almost went to get one today, but didn't."

Trinity looked. "Papa!"

"Hold on Trinity." Mason said. "Maria, we don't even know what's wrong yet. How do you know you even need a shot?"

Lucas looked at Trinity. "Give Papa a minute."

"I don't know. I just don't want to get one," she said.

Trinity nodded.

"First tell me all your symptoms." Mason said.

Lucas smiled.

"Well, I have a really bad headache, I'm feverish, but I feel cold. Um... When I stand, I sort of get dizzy, and my whole body aches," she said.

"Are you getting enough fluids?" Mason asked. "Do you black out or feel hot then cold? Do you have trouble breathing?" He asked.
