Melodysong

"Just- Just wait." She began nervously. "We're almost to the cave." The cave den was a few fox lengths away. When they reached it she slipped into the den. It was bit of a squeeze, but she had to tell her mate about the kits. Melodysong waited until Littlecomet came into the den. She pressed her muzzle to Littlecomet's muzzle. She then steps back. "D- Do you see anything... different about me?" She asks her mate nervously. Seeing if he could tell her stomach was getting a little bit bigger.

Littlecomet licked her muzzle. He didn't want to sound rude, but he said, "I believe your stomach is getting a little bigger... Wait... does that mean-?" He stared at her in wonder and awe. "Are we having kittens?"

Melodysong bites her lip. "Littlecomet, we're going to be parents." She says walking up to her mate.

Littlecomet lets out a yowl of happiness. He grips the ground with his claws, trying to calm his excitement. "Kits..." he stuttered. "Oh melodysong!!" He slides over to her and begins licking her face and neck. "I can't believe it! This is wonderful." He purrs and looks into her eyes. His love shined brightly in his eyes.

Littlecomet purrs with happiness, "Well, let's hope they come soon! I believe we should make a nest in the nursery, if that's the case."

Melodysong gently knocks Littlecomet and she stands on top of him. "We can make the nests later." Melodysong whispers, licking her mate on his nose. "I just want to be with you the rest of the night."

Littlecomet purrs, "Alright, sweetheart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He rolls her over and gives her a love bite on the shoulder.
