And they'd have to keep their 'act' together or they're be eliminated from the staff. (Or severely punished, he doesn't want to lose valuable members!) Their show is considered extremely high ranking and whatever evil figure is in charge wouldn't want to lose money because of a slip up or an over used gag.

And perhaps it's focused on them trying to escape? I imagine they're rigged with some high frequency tracker or shock device that enables when they step out from step grounds, so that'll be tricky, but possible. And the big boss doesn't want to lose his marketing, soo chase em down?

Surprised by their appearance, the only thing she could do was yelp. And she did before exhaling as she smiled and squeaked out, "You're finally here." Scratching the back of her head - or well beanie, Ma'ri closed her eyes and said as she smiled sheepishly to hide her embarrassment, "You— uh startled me there... for a second." as she opened her eyes, and let out a small nervous laugh.
