Gingerstripe followed warrior and apprentice into the forest. She listened as Stonepath spoke. As he finished, she forced herself to hold her tongue. She would've preferred they all stayed together, as a dark and wet forest was more dangerous than a green sunny one. But she said nothing. The tom had already headed off himself. She was just glad the he didn't tell her what to do. Gingerstripe, just focus on the Clan. They need your help too. They need food. She ignored her own rumbling stomach. She wouldn't eat before everyone of her Clan-mates also had their meal.

Their much more important to me. I'm nothing. She sunk into a crouch, her green-grey speckled gaze became darker as she focused on what was around her. She could still feel the rain on her pelt, and hear rain dropping from leaves and landing on the ground with thumps . The she-cat opened her mouth and scented the air, distinguishing faint prey scent from new, and then moisture from the normal scents of the forest. She could scent a fresh vole trail. With a satisfied flick of an ear, she slunk onward.

Her nose twitched as she kept her paws light as they moved over the ground. For once she thanked the rain. Hopefully, it hid her scent from the vole. The scent was getting closer. It made her mouth water. But she perked her ears, knowing sound and smell would be invaluable compared to sight on this gloomy day. Suddenly, a fat brown shape darter out in front of her. Acting on instinct, the she-cat gave chase, her legs speeding over the ground as she followed the vole. She jumped, landing on the vole. A crack echoed in the clearing.

The she-cat smiled with satisfaction, reaching her head down to grab the vole in her teeth. Gently, she picked the limp, warm creature up. The tantalizing taste was almost too much for the she-cat to bare, but she refused to sink her teeth into the soft skin that she knew could crunch under her strong teeth all too easily. She couldn't leave it buried in the ground; it would get soggy and dirty, unfit to eat. She knew she had to carry it with her. She continued on, her paws hardly making a sound on the ground. It was hard to pick scents out from over the vole, but the she-cat managed to do that. She knew it was the end of green-leaf; so many creatures where hopefully about, trying to gather food for the coming cold months. The scent of mouse flooded her jaws. She dropped into a crouch yet again.

More than one. Delight made the she-cat's dark eyes light up. Looking around, she spotted a leaf on the ground, sheltered under some roots. Dashing over, she dropped the vole on the dry leaf. She followed the scent and spotted the two creatures on an oak tree's roots. She bunched her haunches under her, knowing she had only one chance. She flew at the mice with a yowl. Gingerstripe hit the ground near the creatures. "Mouse-dung!" She cursed quietly under her breath. She took off after one of the mice, hoping to catch it. Soon enough, she caught up to it and sank her claws into it. She picked it up and sighed through the fur, wishing she could've gotten the other one too. But she knew she was lucky to have gotten both the vole and a mouse. She headed back to where she had left the vole

Let's just take a moment to say I'm desperate, and am currently begging for a roleplay. Group, 1x1, I don't care; most of the current roleplays I'm in have been kind of disappointing me, so... I'm sure you wonderful people can help me with this dilema. ;A;

Also, is Smamm busy or something? I've posted my username change at least twice, and the front page still shows my old one.

I'm thinking about a travelling show sort of roleplay. Each person has a talent or act, such as dancing, acrobatic work, animal work, and so on.
Would anyone be interested?

I don't know how much of a plot it would have, really. It would just go with what we do.

Like a circus, yes! I guess the term travelling circus would work as well, I hadn't thought to say that. fffft
