Fox shrugged "I was thinking of teaching myself defence in my human form, it's pretty pointless I know but the hunters know how to defend against us as animals. If we go up against them as humans... I don't know... I am just trying to think of a way to get them off our backs." Fox was partially fascinated with the hunter weapons, how they made them, how they worked, it was fairly bizarre considering she was a shifter.

"That's an interesting theory, but it's slightly flawed. Their weapons are far superior, and the train against each other, so they're excellent at fighting other humans."

Fox bit her lip "But what if we use a different technique or something? We are much stronger than them, we could..." she shook her head "Never mind... it's stupid." nevertheless Fox's mind kept running over the ideas.

Seth

"No, please continue." Seth requested, intrigued. "What do you mean by a different technique? Do you have something specific in mind?"

Fox thought for a moment "I watch the hunters sometimes, they seem to all think the same way. We think like our animals. We could make a sort of shifter fighting type I guess, using our strengths. Oh, I don't know how to put it into words." Fox pauses, trying to put what she's thinking into something comprehensible.
"We have only ever used our animal forms in a fight, has anyone, ever tried to use their human form? I tried it once while hunting, I just kept switching between my fox form and human form..." Fox smiles "it made my prey confused and very, very dizzy."

Jag, after letting off some steam, headed back to Fox and Seth, somewhat curious on their conversation. "Fighting in human form?" Jag asked. "I admit, I've fought my fair way with a small knife before but, really, usually I think it would be better to stick in animal form. That way, I'm stronger and faster, so fight or flight, im good."

"That might work, but there are a few small holes in that plan. Half-morphed isn't a great state to fight in, and we'd have to find some pretty specific weapons. I'm willing to give it a try, though."

"It'd be hard to, shifting so often. It's not easy exactly and takes more than a second sometimes. At that state, we are vulnerable to outside attacks. " Jag pointed out, "and we must be son something right if none of us have been caught yet!"

"I agree with the half-morphed thing, but I don't think shifting so often will be that hard. We just need to practice and do it more often." Seth replied thoughtfully.

Fox stepped over a tree root "I see your point, but you can still dodge an attack between forms, and if needed shove you opponent to the ground."
