Kahini ears twitched with the sound of arguing preferring not to sleep in the cramped den with everyone else she'd slept in an old owl nest and usually watch those from the tree only coming down to eat or go on patrol. Stretching she laided out on her branch and watched the other two bicker. Looking around she grinned the oak tree was producing acorns now. Carefully she made her way up to a branch over the two arguing and shook the branch."Some of us are trying to sleep if your going to argue take it somewhere away from the den"Kahini snapped before retreating back to her bed to hopefully get more sleep before the hunting patrol returned

⇴ Sammy blinked his big brown eyes open and yawned, the yawn being much louder than an average yawn's pitch would be. Looking up innocently, Morning and Blood were quarreling. As usual. That's all they did; everyone knew they were about the biggest of enemies within the Tribe. Bicker bicker, bicker bicker. As they engage in their arguments, they usually start at a whispering pitch and then it grows to about as loud as an angry thunderstorm is. And they argued about the stupidest of things. "Did you even care to groom yourself today? You smell like a heaping pile of dung," Morning would say, and Blood would respond with a "No, I was actually kind of hoping you would clean me today," and then tack on a sarcastic grin.
"What are you guys quarrelin' about this time? I'm tryin' to sl-" He paused mid-sentence and didn't finish what he was going to say, because he figured they would just come back with a "you only wake up if you want to wake up or if you scent food coming; we're not interrupting your sleep". "-The Tribe's tryin' to sleep. Plus, shouldn't you guys be out huntin' and gatherin' or somethin'? I'm hungry..." Sammy rolled over on his back and patted his plump belly, and his eyes filled with pride, as if being the plumpest in the Tribe was a thing to be proud of.

⇴ Morning was struggling to ignore all the other fluendis around her yelling, and stood motionless, waiting for an answer from Blood. She could tell he was thinking and blocking the others from his thoughts, too. "I'm waiting for your answer, Blood..." she said quietly, hoping this so far calm argument wouldn't erupt into their past ones.

⇴ Finally, Blood looked down at his paws, sighing. "Well, I think I found this human establishment...It's got that eerie feeling you get when you go near the huge stone paths that the metal beasts walk on...Man..." Blood shook his head and cleared his throat, standing up straight. His gaze hardened on Morning's as her eyes melted in to worry, much like almost all fluendi and other species' eyes do when man is mentioned. "I think it would be wise to call an investigation of the area, and if the humans are coming too close for comfort, we'll ready ourselves to move from the forest and to someplace else safe. I think that would be the wise choice...To gather an investigation patrol to check the area for anything that may be hazardous or life-threatening to the Tribe and our food." Blood glanced around, to see how many were listening.

(Feel free to put in your opinion, anyone who is listening to Blood talk. xD &ty, how near is your little group to the main Tribe? By the way, we'll call it Tribe. xD So refer to the main group of fluendis as a Tribe: no clan or pack or squad, Tribe. With a capital T. ;D)

Blex perked his ears. He thought he had heard the sound of banging.

Mila noticed her brothers alertness, "What do you hear? Is it fluendis?"

"Shhh..." Blex continued to listen. When he didn't hear any more banging he turned to his sister and Altai. "I don't know what it was that I heard but it sounded like banging. I think we should go check it out. If it was a fluendi that made that sound they may beable to help us." He waited for the other two to respond.

Mila nodded, but seemed slightly absent. Her demeanor had changed to her common oblivious nature. "I saw we go!" She started trotting away.

Shaking his head Altai spoke up, "What if it's not a fluendi? What if it's something else? Can we afford to take the risk?" His eyes watched Mila as she stopped and looked up a tree. He wanted to make sure they were all as safe as possible, and if this sound Blex had heard didn't belong to a fluendi then it very well could have been human...

Blex began to follow his sister, "I don't think we have a choice. If it turns out that the sound came from something not fluendi well get out of there as fast as we can, but if it is a fluendi then we succeded in doing what we are out he to do."

Altai shook his head and mumbled to himself, "I still think this is a bad idea..."

Kahini curious she had stayed awake only to hear what all of them knew man was growing closing destroying their home and food source even her sabotaging some of the humans plans hadn't helped just delayed them not that the Tribe knew as unlike Blood she was more careful not to be caught by Morning. " A small investigation team should be sent a larger one is more noticeable and more likely for mistakes to be made"she said now lounging on a lower branch it was her usually post it let her see everyone who approached and she didn't have deal with others trying to draw close to her.

⇴ Sammy rolled to his feet again, his ears perked and his attention suddenly up.
"You saw signs of man? I thought they were hundreds of miles from here. But, if you did actually see signs, I'll be willing to accompany the investigation..." Sammy stepped forward. "But not right now, of course. We need something to eat first."

⇴ Morning took a moment to take in the information. She paused before nodding her head in agreement, and quickly smiled at Kahini for the added-on suggestion. "This would be fine. Blood and I will go as well as a couple of other free fluendis; Kahini, would you like to come? Anyone else?" Morning flicked her tail while she waited and fixed the feathers tied to it.

⇴ Blood couldn't help but let a mere smile cross his face. Morning was actually agreeing with him, and even offered to accompany him on the small trip. For once she wasn't being the stubborn one, and Blood appreciated this in her. Perhaps she was starting to like him and his clever ways now.

Floffy stood up. "I'd like to go!" He said, looking at Morning. "I agree with Sammy though. We need something to eat. I'm starving!" He flicked his tail and sat back down, looking at the others. "How many were there, Blood?" He asked, wanting to know how many humans were around.

Kahini rolled her eyes typical males more concerned with their stomachs."I'll go and those that go on this trip can also hunt for the Tribe"she said climbing down her tree while she preferred to stay in her tree or at a distance she thought it could be fun to sabotage more human machinery while no one was looking
