Damon opened the door regardless and gasped, "CHarlie!" he exclaimed not sure what to do.

The dad looks over his shoulder, "You should run before you get hurt, boy."

Damons jaw dropped as if he were to say something, but words took the silences place. He shook his head as his feet stood firmly planted on the ground. He wasn't going to leave Charlie like that. Not now, not ever. "N-N-no!" he exclaimed hesitantly.

The man throws a crystal at him, part of Charlie's rock collection.

Damon yelped as it hit him in the chest. He held his chest as he felt his shirt beginning to soak with blood. However he stayed still, willingly taking Charlies father's wrath for him.

"Damon!" Charlie struggled to get away fro his father.
"Your little friend doesn't learn, does he?" His father picks up another rock.
"Run! Damon!"

Damon looked up at Charlie with teary eyes and shook his head silently. However this time he was more prepared to dodge this rock.

His dad throws the rock, aiming for Damon's head.
"Damon!" Charlie looks terrified.

Damon ducked and ran past Charlie's dad and towards charge himself.

The dad swings his arm around, catching Damon in the jaw.
