Mars sat down, still grinning at her. He dipped his head, his expression changing to blank again. "I'm Mars, the second oldest in my litter. I'm a pup, so I have no rank..." He thought for a moment, cocking his head. "Or, I think, at the moment... A pack."

Mika came bursting through the bushing, blood spattered on her fur. Branches had clawed her sides when she fled from Blood. "You can't hide from me!" Blood barked, knocking her to the ground. "get off!'" Blood pinned her down and hissed in her ear, "No. You can't stop me from loving you. and you have to love ME!"

Chako ran towards him, but he kicked her so she went sprawling

"SUPER-PUPPY TO THE RESCUE!!" Chiyo suddenly burst out of a bush and knocked Blood off of Mika, which was weird for a chihuahua to be able to do that...

Teru and Fuji came running after him with their tails wagging madly.

Chako yipped in surprise. Blood snarled and ran away, yelling insults over his shoulder. Mika sniffd and barked a threat in reply. Shade walked over to check her injuries. "You're fine," he said simply.

Chiyo grinned and looked at Chako, feeling quite proud of himself.

Chako walked over to Chiyo. "You're becoming very strong...Maybe in the future, you could teach my pups a thing or two," she said proudly. It was hard to believe a shaky little chihuahua had turned into such a brave and strong warrior.

A shot rang out. Shade howled, blood pouring from a bullet wound in his leg. He grunted and fell to his knees. Mika jumped in front of him, ready to take a bullet for him. Chako charged the human. She wrenched the gun from his hands and threw it to the ground. He fell over backwards, screaming for mercy. Chako was not that kind of dog. Humans had done too much to this pack to be forgiven. Blood spewed from the neck wounds. More humans came running at them. "RUN CHIYO!" she screeched.

Courage, above all things, is the first quality of a warrior.

Chiyo ran after Chako as quickly as he could, ignoring any human who tried to shoot him. He whipped around when he saw a human aiming a gun at Mika and jumped in front of her in a flash. There was a sudden loud bang and Chiyo stumbled backwards, a bullet wound in his shoulder. The chihuahua puppy growled and ran at the human, who quickly ran off in fright. Just as he ran past a bush to get to Chako, a human suddenly grabbed him by his tail and stuffed him in a bag, keeping hidden behind the tall bush so that none of the wolves saw him. The human tied the bag up with string and went up to a tree with a low branch and took a rope out of his pocket, found Chiyo's head in the bag and tied the rope around the puppy's neck, then tied the other end of the rope to the tree branch.

Teru saw the human and ran after it, barking furiously. "Let Chiyo go!" He snarled, jumping up at the human. The human kicked Teru over and stamped down on his neck, suffocating him. He then took a knife out of his pocket and wrenched it in to the pup's chest as far as it would go...Teru desperately tried to escape by kicking his little legs, but the human took the knife out and stabbed him again, this time in the stomach.

"TERU!!" Fuji burst out of a bush and leaped at the human, baring her fangs in rage. "NO!!!"

Yara's heart pounded as he pricked up his ears. He knew something was wrong, but what? He couldn't just leave now...

"TERU! NO!" Chako howled, ripping open the human's throat. "Shade! Help him!" Shade nodded and ran to the pup, pulling out the knife and trying to stop the bleeding. Blood gushed from the wounds. Tears of rage poured down Chako's cheeks. She would lose him again...NO! She started killing, left and right. Humans fell, hitting the ground hard. The remainder fled. Blood dripped from her mouth and wounds on her chest. She turned and ran back to Teru. "Teru! Please don't die!" she cried. She nuzzled him, licking his cheek.
