Spiritpaw lay outside the apprentices den boredly, she searched around for her mentor but couldn't spot her in the camp, She must be in her den Spiritpaw concluded slowly standing up and walking to the leader's den,"Goldenstar?" she called into the cave.

Goldenstar looked at the appretince. "Yes?" She asked, liking her paw quickly.

She sat down respectfully,"Are there any jobs you want me to do? Like change the elder's bedding or hunt for the clan?" she asked curling her tail neatly around her paws

"No, no, today is your break from training." Goldenstar meowed, putting her paw on the ground.

Spiritpaw nodded respectfully,"Ok, just let me know if you want me to do a job," she turned slowly and trotted back to the apprentices den. She lay down in the cool shade and slowly fell asleep.
