It took a while and when she was finally done only then did she realized what had happened. On the spot skypaw.collapsed and began to cry.

Poppyfrost catches a squirrel, carrying it back. "Here, Doveheart. Larkkit needs it more than I." She murmurs.

Doveheart nods, taking small bites. She quickly finishes, letting Larkkit feed.

Flicker panted heavily, lying on the roots of a tree. The kits weighed heavily on her as they had walked, making it impossible to travel far in a day. She kept her ears pricked for trouble, since she was alone for now. Char had gone out hunting not too long ago.

Char crouched, eyes fixed on a rabbit that was nibbling a plant not too far away. It would be plenty for his sister and a little left over for him, he thought. He leaped suddenly, landing squarely on it and killing it swiftly. Better then the previous day, certainly.

Long after skypaw walked into camp her eyes still wet with tears. She avoided the gazes and glances from anyone and walked steight to brockenstars den. She then paused and took a moment to find her voice. "B-brockenstar? May I enter?" She asked trying to keep her voice steady.
