As he was finally getting out of his chuckle, the black-haired boy felt a slightly ominous aura around him. Something wasn't right, yet he didn't do anything until he felt something big hit him on the head. The impact was direct and hard. If the object had perhaps been made of metal, it would have surely made his skull crack and bleed. Grabbing the side of his head where the attacker had hit with one arm, Samir closed one eye in pain but didn't yelp. It was quite the punch and, for a moment, the world was dizzy. The children fell silent and their faces grew dim. The young girl was shivering slightly, while the older boy was keeping his calm and had a serious expression, with a touch of anger sparking in his gaze.
Turning towards the direction from which the assault came, Envy suddenly saw his brother right next to him, tugging his arm and speaking with an irritated voice. It was as plain as day that he was annoyed. The dark shadow over his face, the burning violet in his eyes, the sharpness in his voice. They all gave off a very threatening impression. Samir could not only feel what his sibling was giving off, he also knew that the people around them were eyeing their direction. Some were concerned, others were scared and a third party were simply uneasy. Regardless from which they were, most of them walked away nonchalantly. Truth be told, anyone would want to get away when a person was giving off a presence such as Shay's. In fact, the blue-eyed twin was sure they would have ran away if given even the slightest reason to.
Within the young man's throat a stone had gotten stuck, hard. It was one of those rare moments when his different sides couldn't come into an agreement. One shouted for shrug his brother off, the other yelled to punch the annoyed sin, a third whispered to simply follow obediently, a forth murmured to throw a sarcastic comment about his twin's degraded social senses , the fifth just said to call him "Lord Apple" now and so on and so on. Thankfully, it didn't take Samir a long time to figure out what to do. There was a situation to be fixed. They were attracting too much attention with Shay's aura and someone had to lighten up the irritated boy.
"I was busy paying for the inn, Shay-kun." the lad told him calmly, however, he did not wear a smile. It was the effect of having all those personalities to pick from and mash up. He had forgotten to place it. Now his expression was 'neutral', neither annoyed, nor pestered, not pleased or happy. There was no particular emotion in that answer and that was probably for the best.
"After doing so, I decided to buy something myself and met up with these children." Samir explained. It was for the kids' own good not to get too much into Greed's view, so to speak. Finally, he gave off a slight smile that emitted a fraction of warmth and added
"How about I buy you a fortune cookie? Some of them seem to be funny." Although he knew how to handle his sibling by himself, having those three around created a possibility for trouble. He wanted to hint for them to take a hike already, yet there was no way to do so, since his twin's sharp gaze would catch it right way. They were that close, after all. However, the older boy was catching a whiff of the situation moved slightly backwards, whispered to the blond-haired youngster, for him and the girl to take their leave, which they did, slowly and carefully. The eldest of the three children stayed behind and began looking at the displayed pastries at the stand.

Vega had intentionally slowed his pace in order to make it more comfortable for the sin. Sloth was a rather calm girl, save the times she became childish when denying to do something. Out of all the sins, she was one of the hardest to persuade but never ran off to do something she wished on a whim, which in turn made it easier for others to at least find her. This in turn didn't mean the girl wasn't headstrong. When she truly decided she had to sleep, she would and almost no one could make her do otherwise. If her intention was serious, even Eureyla was helpless. That is why the demon was aware of the possibility that he might have to carry the lady at some point, but had no intention of speeding up. If he insisted in going quicker, it might have pressed the wrong keys of the sin's piano, making her reluctant to move further.
"Very well. If anything comes to mind while we are there, order me and I shall obey." Vega told her, every so polite. At least Sloth wasn't picky or loud.
Opening the door to the kitchen, the demon saw a few cooking demon spirits and maids cleaning plates and silverware. With his vivid amber eyes, he easily spotted the horned white-haired girl, who ate a chicken salad with great delight written all over her face.
"Both your father and your siblings shall be extremely furious with your inactivity. I dare not mention your spiritual father's fury, the High Demon's." Vega spoke in a cold tone as he paced towards the wooden table on which Lust was having breakfast
"Insignificant things such as substance can be acquired on the road."
