[THEY MEET IN ALDAIR. If you look at Ciaran's form, that's where she lives. Yes, the second group can go, because they don't need as much prep (or so says the Minister). Anyway, please don't be impatient to get to Chicago.I know it's awesome.]
"Nickel," Maddie gestured the the two girls behind them. "You're the only one who isn't tired and doesn't want to stop. Majority rules. We're stopping. As a group, we have to stay together."

"You guys act like you've never heard of caffeine." Nickel grumbled. "Fine, but we wake up at six to get going." Nickel hated to get up early, but she never liked to wait.

"We probably should leave soon. I don't want this journey to take forever."

Maddie raised an eyebrow. "Nickel, we're not getting up at six just so you can satisfy your insane desires."

"Well, I am. So I guess I'll see you in Chicago."

"Nickel..." Maddie sighed. "We're supposed to stay together. Will three hours, not counting when we're asleep, kill you?"
