Zack had gotten up early to talk to Serena, but she was still asleep, so he didn't bother her. They had been good friends for a while now and he looked up to her a lot. His nose twiched and he flicked his tail. Starting to get bored, he trotted around the kingdom, thinking of nothing else to do.

Serena|Female|No One|Five Years|Guard

If there was one thing she Serena liked to do more than playing with Zack, it was sleeping. She was a deep sleeperr, but she always tried her best to get up on time. She usually didn't make it, and this morning was no exception. By the time the mare had left the den, the sun had risen and Zack was most likely wandering around. She headed towards the entrance and hung out around it. She kept an eye out for anything suspicious, but she only strange things were the ones in her head. She gave up and headed for the library.

Saxton|Male|No One|Four Years|Second-in-Command

Saxton snorted after shaking his head. He had never been a morning stallion, but he tried not to show it. His den was near his leader's, Dusk's. He preferred his privacy, but he also enjoyed talking to the other jewels in the morning. He trotted out side and looked around. Sticking his muzzle towards the sky, he took a deep breath before looking around the kingdon. He looked up at the leader's den, seeing Dusk slip into the Healer's area. He just stood there and looked around.

Dusk til Dawn (dusk) He opened his eyes in his den and stood up. He took a few steps outside and looked down at his kingdom. He was proud and grateful to be leader, but he was lonely and he needed to find a mare who he would trust to be his mate, and lead mare. He gracefully jumped down to the healers cavern to visit wind talker and the young orphaned foal. "Hello wind talker, how are you?" he asked with a kind smile

Her ears pricked up at the sound of the familiar voice. When she spotted her leader, she stood up straight, standing to attention. "Good morning, sir," she replied politely. She was curious as to why the young stallion had chosen to come down to the Healer's Cavern that morning. More importantly, why he'd chosen to speak to her in particular. Have I done something... wrong? She tried to remain calm as she replied, "I'm very well thank you. How are you?"

Cher looked at the leader as he came into the cavern. She mimicked her carer, as she'd learnt to do as a little filly anyway, and stood to attention for the lead stallion. She was a teenager and would have probably slumped infront of any other lower-ranked stallion. But she didn't want to risk disrespecting the leader!

Dusk til dawn (dusk) He smiled at the healer "Im very good, its a very nice day today" he said to her. Recently he had been starting to notice how pretty some of the mares were around the area, and wind talker was one of the prettier ones. "you dont need to say sir to me, I've known you for forever!" he said with a slight chuckle. He remembered growing up with wind talker and since she was a year older than him he was with her the day she got her gems, and he was envious that he could not get his yet. Things were so much different now. He looked at cher "How are you today?" he asked her kindly. Wind was doing a great job at raising the young filly and he was impressed with how well behaved she was.

Her ears grew hot with embarrassment. Indeed, she remembered the day when Dusk was foaled. How young and fragile he was. She herself was a yearling at the time, still holding on to the last strands of her foal-like mane and tail. He was a tiny foal. So young. So fragile. She'd have laughed in your face if you'd told her that this little foal would grow to become the lead stallion. And yet here he was. Their noble and righteous leader. My, how things can change.
"Forgive me, Dusk. I did not want to appear above my station." As a healer-in-training, the young Wind Talker was always told what she could and couldn't do. She could heal the sick. She could ease the suffering of those on their deathbed. She could even take in orphaned foals, like poor old Cher. But she couldn't take more than two days off, in case of an emergancy. She couldn't spend too long on one patient, no matter what was wrong with them. But most of all, she couldn't speak to a higher-ranked Ecrystaline informally unless they wished her to address them in that way. She looked at the stallion apolegetically, hoping that he'd be leniant with her. They'd always been good friends and she'd hate to destroy what they had with her bad manners.

She smiled proudly at the stallion. "Very well, thank you, sir!" It was exciting, speaking to the lead stallion. Cher had not really had the chance to speak to him. Wind Talker always kept her busy. Checking up on patients. Gathering herbs or other ingredients. Delivering news to relatives and/or friends of patients, be it good or bad. Being a healer could get tough. But she loved every minute of it. She was proud of it!

dusk till dawn (dusk) He looked at wind talker with a puzzled look "you did not appear above your rank, i think you have forgoten what kind of lead stallion i am, no rank should be more superor than the others just they just have a fancyer title" he said with a smile. "you also have special rights being one kf my closest friends" he added. He looked at cher "well thats great! wind has done such a wonderful job of raising you, and you seem to be a hard worker as well" he said smiling again. He loved that his job was to protect the herd, and he thought of them all as family. At times it got stressful, but these moments are what made the job fun.

Wind Talker smiled, but she couldn't help but feel troubled. She felt worried that her dear friend could get himself into trouble, for giving privileges to his friends. She looked into his eyes, trying to address him as her equal. "Dusk, I am grateful that you treat me so kindly. But as my friend, please! Be careful with whom you put your trust into."

Cher smiled. "Wind Talker has been very good at looking after me! I'd be lost without her." She leaned against Wind Talker affectionately to show how grateful she was.

He looked down at cher "well thats wonderful! You have the best teacher in the world, so your a very lucky filly" he said to her. He loved how energetic cher was and he wanted a foal of his own, but he would need to find a mare who would want to be with him before that.
