Westpaw cocked her head. "So, are we fighting each other, or the tree?" the young apprenticed inquired, a bit puzzled by the given task.

"Each other." Featherpaw purred with a smirk. "How would we fight the tree?" He asked curiously with a teasing tilt of his head.

"You just did," Westpaw shot back at the tom apprentice smugly, flicking her tail with a slight annoyance. She rolled her eyes and looked back at her leader quickly.

[Fiorre]

Featherpaw, Tom, 8 moons, Apprentice

"I fought the tree, not both of us." He meowed in explanation. He sighed and turned his head towards his mentor and leader, waiting for a signal so they could train already.

FeralStar mewed, " Enough! You two need to start. " Glaring at the two.

Not at all fond of being glared at, Featherpaw crouched and jumped on Westpaw with paws sheathed. He tried to knock her over so he could aim blows at her face.

FeralStar nodded and mewed, " Westpaw, dodge the attack. " She looked at the two and purred in pride.

Westpaw bristled as her leader instructed the two apprentices to start, rolling her eyes a bit. "Sorry, Feralstar," she muttered apologetically. Just a few brief seconds later she felt something tackle her and she cursed herself for not realizing they had actually started. The she cat crouched down as Featherpaw had leapt on her, knowing she had to protect her stomach. Making sure her paws were sheathed, Westpaw shifted slightly, planning to overturn the tom opponent.

Amazingly similar to what had happened the earlier in their play battle, Featherpaw hooked himself onto her back and nipped at her neck. But this time, he also used his back claws to scratch her back. He was being extra careful to not hurt her though.
