One; My friend just rescued a sturgeon. Hopefully he can release it or give it away to a bigger tank before it grows big, cause they grow HUGE!
Two; Since I have decided on getting Cichlids, I would like any advice on ones I should get, since I've never dealt with Cichlids before. So, I would like Dwarfs only, or ones that don't get very big since it would only be a 30gal. And ones that aren't too aggressive. I've been trying to do my research, but any extra info is helpful
Oh god sturgeons.
(also if sturgeons go any length of time in water that isn't really cold they die)

Do you have before and afters of your others?
I measured all my goldies the other day and bought a scale to keep track of their growth, though I haven't weighed them yet

Two Electric Yellow CichlidsOh, you mean Yellow Labs? Those aren't probably the best cichlids for a 30 gallon. They are extremely territorial, will gladly kill each other, and grow rather large. The person who I got my 125 from had 4 7 inch labs in there.
Maybe replace them with a few rams or such?

What are rams?
If I don't replace them with rams, I'll probably do just Saulosi's then. I'm not sure if I'd be able to find any Rusty's around here.

(also if sturgeons go any length of time in water that isn't really cold they die)My friend knows what he's doing. He's rescued tons of fish before (I guess you can say he's a fish rescue) and he's probably got it in his goldfish tank if not in a separate tank. He took a picture and put it on Facebook.

How many tanks do you have: One
Type of fish that you have: one neon swordtail and a marble lyretail molly
Your fish's names:(swordtail) Riptide (molly) Apollo
How long have you had fish:If you're talking about fish in general maybe 5-6 years. If it's the fish I have now about a week.
Also if you have pictures of you fish we would love to put a link to them next to your name! If you have a tank with a lot of fish you are welcome to just put a picture of your tank. Please do not post the pictures on the actual forum since they do take up space; just the link will do!
