K a t a r i

fae
3 years
loner

-------------------------------------------

APPEARANCE
Katari is a slim fae. Her legs are long, giving her incredible speed. Fitted to her frame are muscles that are specially adapted for long runs and taking down prey. Covering her inner self is a snowy white coat of medium length. Her fur is soft to the touch, and works great at insulating her during the colder months. Set into her skull are a pair of icy blue orbs. Her eyes are very expressive, and they can read others with ease. Her eyes seem to have a magic about them, like they can see into your soul.
PERSONALITY
Katari has an equally horrible bark and bite. Her tongue is sharp, and she holds little tolerance. Ever since the pack moved in, her patience seemed to shrink ever more so than normal. On the other side is her bite. Katari is not afraid of most things, which cause her to have the confidence of striking an opponent without a second thought.

However, Katari has her good traits. She's extremely smart. Living as a loner her entire life, Katari has built up knowledge of every survival skill in the book. And she's a great judge of character. Katari can tell you whether to stay away from a wolf without even talking to it. She also has her romantic moments. Although love is not known to her, she is not against it. But it will take a special male to win her heart.
HISTORY
Katari was born into the loner life. Both of her parents were loners. But Katari's father didn't want to be burdened with pups, so he left. When Katari was born, she had 2 brothers. Appearing smaller than them, Katari was exiled from the family. Her mother left Katari when she was only 4 months.

Katari lived off of the land then. She scavenged off of carcasses. Stayed clear of danger. Eventually, though, she saw a new sight. A hunt. Katari watched another loner take down a small rabbit. By observing, Katari was able to learn basic hunting skills. She practice whenever she got the chance, and soon her skills became highly tuned. Katari's fighting skills came later, when she was attacked by another wolf about her age (which was 1.5 years, at the time). Katari lashed out viciously, but carefully planned each attack. In the end, Katari had won.

This is how Katari lived. Learning from observation. Practicing hunting and fighting whenever time permitted. This is what made her into the skilled, wise loner that she is today.
LOVE INTEREST
It's not a matter of interest, but more so of who she can live with. Who she would feel comfortable calling her mate.
SAMPLE
A steady beat sounded through the land. Paw prints were left in the dirt beneath the creature's feet. A white blur dashed through the forest. The animal's motions contained grace and agility.

Katari. The wisp of the forest ran harder. Faster. Behind her was the sounds of gunfire. Katari's instincts told her that the bald creatures holding them weren't exactly friendly, and so she ran. She didn't have a specific destination. The forest was her home. Katari was a loner. A one-wolf-team. Alone. Well, not quite alone. Days earlier, Katari had been informed of the new pack in the area. Animals seemingly similar to the ones that she had run from had chased the pack to this land. And Katari hadn't taken it very lightly.

The fae had protested to the newcomers. Every time she had scented a pack member, she would growl something evil. Her hatred only grew as the pack began to hunt the already-scarce prey. Clearly, the land could not sustain all of them. It was either the pack, or the loners. And in Katari's mind, the loners had every right to be here.

Now, here she was. Running from these creatures. In her mind, she would find some way to blame the pack for this. For everything bad in life. No more prey? The pack ate it all. Disease? Started in the pack, no doubt. Any hardship? It's their fault. This was her mindset.

RUELLE

fae
3 years
beta female

-------------------------------------------

APPEARANCE
Ruelle is a medium-sized, long-legged wolf with a slender physique. Clearly built for speed and endurance, she does not possess the bulk that other wolves, especially brutes, like to throw around. She is by no means weak, however, and her hindquarters are reasonably well-muscled. Her soft, thick fur is a smooth blend of shades from palest silver to gray, emphasising her striking golden eyes.
PERSONALITY
Quiet by nature, Ruelle generally prefers not to engage in idle chatter as other wolves are wont to do. She does not trust easily, being wary and suspicious of strangers, and is most comfortable alone or with a few close friends. Nevertheless, she is sweet and kind when amongst her pack, never hesitating to volunteer a helping paw, and even speaking kindly to the omegas. In times of trouble, she is intelligent and brave, and will take care to plan her moves before taking action. Ruelle is not one to believe in violence or threats, instead preferring to find a peaceful solution to conflict. She is strongly loyal to her pack and extremely protective of her loved ones, even to the point of possessiveness.
HISTORY
Ruelle was born in another pack during a time of turmoil, for a young male had killed the Alpha and declared himself leader. A rebellion opposing his leadership was staged, but her parents and littermates were killed in the battles that ensued. Injured and weak, Ruelle managed to escape with a few other young wolves from her pack. Eventually, they parted ways, and she wandered alone for almost a year before joining Brendan's pack. Ruelle harbours a deep hatred towards wolves who attempt to overthrow their Alpha and works silently to keep her current pack stable.
LOVE INTEREST
Due to her tumultuous past, Ruelle has had little time for crushes or mates.

-------------------------------------------

AVERILL

brute
4 years
subordinate

-------------------------------------------

APPEARANCE
Averill is a large, stocky wolf with a well-muscled physique. His thick fur is pale cream in colour, except on his back and the top of his head where it is a blend of soft grey and brown. Averill’s soulful, dark amber eyes are key to understanding his emotions, and usually convey his kind, joyful disposition. His size alone is often intimidating enough to deter enemies from attacking, and it is indeed rare that he ever has to utilise his strength against others.
PERSONALITY
Being a sociable wolf, Averill is usually cheerful and enjoys engaging in games such as tag with his companions. He has quite the weakness for pretty faes, and likes to think that his (debatable) quick wit is a hit with the opposite gender. Despite his often-childish behaviour, he is intelligent and brave when it counts, with the potential to take charge in emergencies. In contrast to his cheerful demeanour, Averill enjoys the rush of battle and will not hesitate to kill his opponent if necessary, but he is still able to remain level-headed during a brawl. He is strongly loyal and highly protective of any pack that he is a part of.
HISTORY
Born to the betas of a pack, Averill enjoyed a comfortable puphood with his sister and brother. He was groomed to be the next lead warrior of the pack, a position which he anticipated with pride. However, the unexpected fire that swept through the forest one night scattered the pack, sending wolves fleeing in all directions. Lost and alone in a foreign land of ash, Averill began to search for other wolves that survived the flames, hoping to one day find his family again.
LOVE INTEREST
Averill has quite a large interest in faes, but his current main interests are Roze and Lily - the former for her humor, adventurous spirit and striking coat, the latter for her endearing shyness.
SAMPLE
wip! do we have to write one for each wolf? cx

The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.

((We have three female subordinate slots, three male loner slots, and one female loner slot left.

I'd say we have enough to start, though, if you guys are ready.))

[question - do loners cross paths with any wolves through out the role play such as wolves in the pack or other loners?}

((That's kind of the point of this entire roleplay, so yes. Loners fight each other over territory and food but they also harass the pack, who they feel is taking all their resources. By entering this new territory, the pack doubled the population of wolves living there already, so that's bound to cause some unrest.
