Looking at all the new changes, I'm actually getting quite excited for the move! <3

However, this is my first time on DA, and I'm having a bit of trouble getting around, despite the many guides. >.> Would anyone here be able to provide me with some help?

I love the idea of making the foaldesign on my own. So I can use the things I love the most at the fathers design and the things I love the most at the mothers design to create exactly the foal I was thinking of when I searched for the breedingpair.
But on the other hand there won't be any surprise when looking at the new foal another person made for you ;(

But, then you will be able to experiment with the paren't s designs and get a foal you truly love! And, there will be ways to order a foal too if you want to take a chance and get that surprise

This may seem like a stupid question....but I was wondering if you had an arranged breeding set up for a long time like since August but wasn't able to get a breeding slot and now that WMEs are moving can that breeding no longer take place? I have PMed the owners asking if they are going to follow WMEs and go on DA but I haven't got a reply yet. I have their permission for the breeding on CS but does that not count on DA? If they don't move to DA does that mean I lost my chance to get the foal I have dreamed about?

The breeding does NOT count on DA even if it is confirmed on here. You will need to have both equids you wish to get a foal from on DA, so if their owner does not want to make a DA account to register their CS equid on DA you will be out of luck. So yeah, sorry, but if they don't move to DA, you can't get that dream foal :< BUT!!! Your dream foal is now more in reach than you think, for horsy is setting up a new breeding system with the move, and I believe *THEORY HERE* that you will be able to design your own foal as long as it has characteristics of both parents and is given the okay from horsy to be official. I hope this helps!

Well I guess I'll have to find a new couple to breed. That are white with black and pink marking. That's my dream foal haha a white one with some black marking and pink by the muzzle . That why I had River and Zachariah planned .


So if anyone that is moving to DA and has an equid that is white with black,grey or pink on it and is interested in breeding please let me know

Same with me. I had a breeding planned since january and it should be my "perfect first equid" and now I have to search for a new partner because one of the equids won't move to deviantart.
But I am sure you will find two white equids and then you can create your own foal exactly like you dreamed of

When I think about it, creating the design on my own is the best way to get exactly what I wanted when I thought about breeding them.
But yes, if there is no limit how much equids I can own and I have enough points I will ask a designer to maKe me a foal, just for the surprise

I will always be glad I got the chance to know what it is like to snag an artist's breeding slot here on CS and get to watch my baby being made <3 I couldn't have done a better job with Charlie and I love him so much. He will always be my favorite equid, no matter what. He's my Charlie <3 I love the idea that I can create my own foals now though, to ensure a connection between me and said foal
