Daquri nodded, taking a final glance at Fox. She slinked back to the other ferrets, even though there werent a lot. "We will be getting a new Owner, and we may all be sold." she said sadly. "Lets go, theres a meeting." she said, heading back towards the meeting place.

Takki flew to the other birds, landing on the wooden stick on top of her cage. "Owner will be missed, but a new Owner will be taking over. We might be sold, all of us, but stay strong. Maybe the new owner will be like the old one." she suggested. She bobbed her head and flew back to the meeting place.

[A-train]

Tiava sat next to Callie on a cushion in the front of the store, both of them trying to look cute.
"I'm so sad about Owner...," Tiava sighed suddenly.
Callie looked over at her in surprise. "Really? Well, I knew you were close to him.... Not even near as close yet as the queen cat - I forget her name - but...."
Tiava sighed again. "This new owner hates me!"
Callie flicked Tiava's ear with her tail tip, now growling and unsheathing her claws. "Grawghh!" she hissed, a strange sound even for her. "He should never have been accepted into the pet shop at all! I don't care how popular he is; he sucks!"
"I agree," Tiava purred.

[-Audio.Hound-]

Fox circled and settled into her bed. Waiting for everyone to arrive, she closed her eyes and listened to the soft music playing from the speakers in the ceiling.

As Sly led the rats to the meeting place, one asked, "Are we going to starve? I'm hungry."
Sly turned and said, "The employies will feed us in the morning. Now quiet, we don't want to wake anyone."

[A-train]

Callie and Tiava followed after the rats somewhat curiously. Callie let out a mew of frustration as she realized that, what the rats were saying about being hungry, was true for her, as well. Callie and Tiava headed to the back of the store, where they curled up in their bed together. At least for tonight, they would share Callie's bed. They both needed it. Comfort. Sleep. Warmth.

Daquri led the few ferrets to the meeting place and sat next to Sly, the other ferrets behind her. She sighed impatiantly and waited for the others. Grrrrrrrrrowl! her stomach roared. She looked down, embarrased.

Takki flew to the meeting place, and landed on an empty dog cage. The other birds landed beside her. She squaked at her arrival.

[-Audio.Hound-]

Fox nodded at each Head. She flicked her tail when she realized the cats weren't there. She knew the dogs would take a while to arrive, as there were many of them, but cats always arrived on time in past meetings. "Does anyone know where Callie is?" she called to the animals below.

Sly nodded at Daquri, and had to hid a grin when her stomach growled. "It's OK, we're all hungry," he whispered.

Callie suddenly opened her eyes; she was washing Tiava's fur with her eyes closed. "Crappy-drat!" she cried. "I need to go the heads' meeting! Come on, Tiava, up you get; you're coming, too," she ordered her friend. Tiava got up, somewhat dazed, so Callie slapped her flank with her black tail a few times. "Come on! I'm missing the meeting!" she cried.

A few moments later, she was at the back of the store where the other heads and pets met. "Sorry I was late!" she panted. "But, as you see, I needed to do something real quick!"
