Rainstar had fallen on his side, but as he felt Saltpaw on top of him once again he leaped into the air to throw him off, landing on his paws and turning to face his apprentice again.

SaltPaw landed safely and pounced on him again. He kept his legs between RainStar's hip and began to paw at his belly.

``I like the name Swirlkit.``Sweetheart said.

Rainstar used both of his front paws, swinging them at Saltpaw's head to make him back off. Rainstar then moved back and into a defensive crouch, his eyes watching and ready to counter Saltpaw's next moves.

SaltPaw jumped up and sprinted behind. He grabbed his tail with his mouth and with all his might, he tugged it back and made him fall down. He batted at the leader's ear to make him deaf for a bit.

Rainstar turned, his paw flying out to strike the smaller cat hard across the face. In doing so, he managed to avoid the worst of the tail pull and the swipe to the ear.
