limping faster. She just started humming under her breath.

Don't let this make you feel bad Thornflower. If you've been through what I've been through, you'd understand. Kane wanted to tell her, but held his tongue. His parents had put a taste in his mouth, and he didn't want to see another kit treated the way he and his sister had been.

( Nothing much has happened. Lightpaw, Loudstep, and Frostwing have gone on patrol. Ashcloud was found. Sunpelt and Cloudstrike are on their own little patrol. Eaglestar is fight Duskpaw who is controlled by Grinner.)
