This is where you can adopt Chickcharneys!
Chickcharneys are mythical creatures that resemble a bird, most usually an owl. Supposedly if you come across a Chickcharney and treat it well, it will bring you good luck!
Originally I just wanted to have a cute species that looked like an owl (one of my favorite birds), and had four legs (but wasn't a wolf). So I decided to stick an owl head on a cat's body. (yeah yeah creative :p) I had been wondering what to name them though -- 'Owlcat' seemed too obvious, and I felt it didn't really suit the species. Then while reading my favorite webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court, it happened to be featuring chickcharneys during its latest chapter. I thought that was the perfect name! C: (Please mind, I did not steal the idea/design of the chickcharney. I had drawn up this lineart long before this story arc in Gunnerkrigg Court; additionally my Chickcharneys look nothing like the webcomic one.)
So I hope you will want to adopt one as your very own! C:
