Makes me think of Smarties, actually. The UK M&Ms. They do sell them in the US. The colors match up as well.

Those are Rockets outside of the US and they are delicious - these are Smarties:

Hmm, colour comparison looks pretty close on the Smarties, but I do also like the gumball theory, mostly because the rest of the pony's design looks a bit like bubbles. :3 The candies look like they have a little white letter on them though, which could match Skittles or M&Ms.

I am so glad you posted a picture of your "Smarties." In the United States, we, too, have "Smarties," but they are pastel in color, and aren't as round (circular, but not 'round')... I kept reading people talking about how they looked just like Smarties, and I was just sitting here flailing my arms, screaming, "Those look nothing like the Smarties I know!"

We have those too over here, but we call them Rockets.

I'm guessing these are Koppers french mints ;3


and i suspect that koppers made the candy from tonights pony too, though i couldnt find a pic that had all the colors, i did see a lot of pics of m&m like candies in all of the ponies colors as well as super cute candy fruits tht had a browish looking grape color

so I guess its up to our lovely artist to inform us XD

They're definitely Smarties to me (the chocolate ones, not those american ones) untill we know for sure what they are =3
