.: Scattered Dreams :.
All my life it always seems
That I am chasing scattered dreams
And it also always seems
That I am listening to Elkrin screems
-------------------------
I sleep all day
Cause the morning is for sleeping
At night I cry
Cause I save the night time for my weeping
-------------------------
All my dreams
Are worth nothing
Cause they are always scattered
And are never answered

.: Far-Off Memories :.
The trees sway
And the the blossoms go away
They drift away with my memories
There will always be far-off memories
-------------------------
Every doe I ever loved
Have turned me down
Love is like the cherry blossoms
It always withers and dies
-------------------------
My memories may be far away
But they will always be with me
Like blossoms on the trees
They will alway return

Um, hi.
Well, I'm Selene, I'm not Sel or Selly or Lene or anything else dumb that isn't Selene, so that's what you're going to call me, if anything. I don't like nicknames, and find no use for them. I'd like to introduce you to my Elkrin bond Aviv, he's a Cherry Blossom stag. He's the last of his kind, and frankly, very special to me. We are similar in our ways, and are joined in ways more than one. When we bonded, we both changed; but I guess I'll have to tell you more about that later, so, uh, bye.

Why Aviv?
I gave this stag the name of Aviv, meaning "springtime", because he is the breed of Elkrin that welcomes spring to the world of Eldemore every year.

Image

Personality;;

Majestic
Quite manly in his ways, Aviv is a beautiful creature worth be holding on any day, and tries to carry himself as to live up to expectations that others have for him. His honor is one of the most important things to him, and I don't know how he would be able to keep himself together and get up in the mornings if he lost it; if he did, he might even lose the will to go on in life at all. He enjoys showing his gorgeous markings off at times, but that's only to the more gorgeous side of what he refers to as his "beauty scale".

Gentle
Aviv is a quite kind spirit, never harming anything or anyone in his path, or out of his way. He is often favored by small children and young fawns because of this gentle nature he has engrained into his very being. He isn't brutish at all, and you see it just by looking at him, by the way he carries himself. What better a stag than him to represent such a delicate flower of spring? Like the flower of the cherry blossom tree, he is gentle as he tumbles through the wind, touching the hearts of those he passes, yet never hurts them in any way.

Loving
Aviv cares deeply for Selene, and would do absolutely anything for her. If she wasn't his bond, he wouldn't be able to care less for her, but she is, and he loves her with all his heart. That's really the only person he cares for besides himself, but tries to look out for those closest to Selene; but that isn't many. He takes care of her, and is protecting her well-being every moment of every day, clinging to her like a lost puppy at all times to make sure she's alright. He pesters her at times, but he comes in handy more often, so the benefits far out-weigh the downfalls.

Quick
In his mind and movement, Aviv is quite speedy in most things he does, one thing being his quick wit. He can come up with the best come-back you've heard all day, and in just mere milliseconds after you spoke. It takes a little longer to relay through Selene, but you get the point. He's also very light on his feet, making him an agile opponent to the tricky forests of Eldemore. He can easily think up logical solutions to problems in just a few moments, and can change direction faster than any creature you've ever seen; during a full sprint.

Pensive
Aviv is often engaged in deep thought, thinking about all kinds of things that go on in his life. It could be the smallest curiosity that gets him onto a thoughtful spree, thinking up as many logical explanations as he can. It often bothers Selene, because when she enters his thoughts, she can mostly just hear him talking about why the sky is blue and how life Came to be on the planet. Sometimes, it's the silliest things, like "Why does fire hurt" or "what is temperature", so she often tunes out. He's tried to cut back on it, but he thinks abut that too much too.

Vain
Along with his majesty comes a snobbish attitude at times, but Selene is treated well by Aviv and acts the same way. He's the most rude to haters, but a lot doesn't make it through her bond who acts as her "translator". He sometimes gets a little to big for his britches and shows off just a bit too much, but people have learned to somewhat expect it from him, along with the disrespect and the fact he looks down on all others. A lot of times, the vain attitude subsides, but most of the time, it's because he's feeling insecure.

Elegant
Aviv may not be human, but he is the most proper being you will ever meet in your life. He has perfect etiquette when dining, speaking, and participating other social events, and has perfect grammar when conversing with Selene. He often corrects people as they speak, and walks as if the whole world is watching. He likes to be proper, his favorite thing to do is sip tea and eat crumpets with Selene, he thinks they're delicious and feels like he's a very important person when he does it.

Thunder rolled as lightning cracked mercilessly across the night sky, seeming to shatter the black glass that trapped us here on Eldemore. Rain pattered on the slick rocks below, and I struggled to cling to them, the precipice but a few inches behind me. My frail fingers slipped on the smooth stone, and my palm slid across a jagged edge, acquiring a large gash down its middle. I held on with the final fingers of my left hand, and I felt hot blood rushing down my leg from my hand. A large, deafening noise stole my focus and gave it to the sky, and I lost my final grip. I slid off the edge into the darkness, seeing nothing below me. I fell for what seemed to be forever, but in the next instant, the ground was just before me, and I was awake.

Sweat stuck my shirt to my back, and I felt hot tears streaming down my cheeks. My hair clung to my face, and pulled my knees in close, stifling a sob with quick, uneasy breaths. I felt the pressure on my eyes as I squeezed them shut, trying to avoid the pain. I knew it had been a mere dream, but the pain was real. Everything was pink, but devilish in its ways. At my every turn, something was attempting to consume me, to take me away from existence, I ran, and kept going until I was plunged into the darkness of the night, and came to a steep cliff, I stopped just before the edge, but slipped, grabbing onto the rocks. I slipped and fell, but woke just before I hit the hard ground below.

I felt like my mind would be my point of weakness, that I was on the brink of self-destruction; and I almost wanted it, just for it to be over, to save myself from the misery. I drug myself out from under the silk sheets and slipped onto the floor, feeling the weakness beginning to drip off my body. I slid on my black slip dress, and let my hair escape from its clip. It slid down my shoulders to the bottom of my rib cage, strait as stalks and as black as night. I never bothered with shoes; I tended to keep to the confines of my house and didn’t need them. I slipped down the hall silently, not to wake the creaky floor boards. I lived with some other people I knew; I guess you could call them my friends.

Image

I retrieved the necessities for some cereal and fixed myself a bowl, sitting down at the kitchen table. A glass of water shone next to me, and black eyes peered back, staring into me, mocking me. A look of disgust spread across my face, and I knocked the glass of the table with a vicious swipe, causing it to shatter on the floor. I jumped up, shoving my chair back, and sprinted for the door, suffocating as my throat tightened. Tears yet again escaped my eyes, running back and across my temples. I wiped them away furiously and bolted into the trees, attempting to escape it all. Trees rushed past me, reaching for my hair and legs. My foot caught a root and I lost all my momentum, and I came quickly to the earth below. My head hit the hard ground and began to spin; before I could regain my vision, it dimmed and I lost consciousness.

I lengthened my strides as much as I could, racing through the pink trees. White roots stuck out from the pink petals that covered the ground, and I was careful to watch out for them as I ran from my greatest fear. It was a massive, serpentine creature, cherry blossom pink in color. It was the size of a large oak, with huge white fangs and devilish, hot pink eyes. It had spines all the way down its back, and large front legs it used to increase its speed. A long tongue shot out of its mouth, dripping acid just behind me. The branches and roots of the trees began to move, grabbing at me, trying to intertwine themselves around my legs. One caught my ankle and I tumbled down, turning just in time to see the huge mouth open above me. I shut my eyes tightly, and everything became silent. After a moment, I opened my eyes again to see I was back in the forest, laying where I had fallen.

Only a small breath seemed to fill my lungs, so I took several before slowly coming to my feet. My head rang from the jarring blow, and my vision was foggy until I rubbed them to clarity. The forest was dark, the moon low in the sky. If it was twilight, then I must have been unconscious for quite a while. I wanted to just crawl into the protective roots of a tree and stay there, but I was far too afraid of falling asleep. I brushed the rubbish of my dress and set off, stopping short. I suddenly felt an extreme pain on the bottoms of my feet that I must have not recognised until the adrenaline had worn off. I looked at them, and sat down quickly in shock. They were bright red, with blotches of blood sprinkled all over them from wounds caused by sticks and sand spurs, several of which were still stuck there. I wiped my hand across them, attempting to rid the skin of foreign materials, and quickly pulled it away, groaning in pain. I got up slowly, and began to limp in what I guessed was the right direction.

Image

The pain had progressively gotten worse, and every step I took at this point was excruciating, sending jolts of pain through my feet and up my calves. The moon was high above me, illuminating my path only slightly, the faint glow leaking through the canopy. I saw a shimmer ahead, giving energy to my limp. I broke out of the trees to see a pond shining before me, the silver moon shining on its deathly still surface. I fell to my knees in relief, and desperation dragged me to the edge through silky black sand. The water was warm; it must have been a volcano that had collapsed, leaving behind a heated crater and finely ground volcanic rock. I rotated and came to sit properly, dipping my feet into the water gingerly. They were instantly revitalized as the water quickly soaked away the soreness in my skin. I was able to then remove all the sticks and burs from my feet, relieving the pain more; somewhat. They now bled profusely, and I pulled them out of the water so the blood could clot more quickly. I laid back in the sand, relieved and exhausted, too tired to worry about my feet any longer, and drifted into an uneasy, deep sleep.

A different creature now chased me, a horde of small, furry creatures about a foot in length. They had nubby tails, and long vicious claws and teeth, capped with red from a previous meal. Their eyes were completely black, and faces were elongated into sharp snouts. An extra limp protruded from each of their backs, holding a small, triangle-shaped tip. I limped as fast as I could, trying to escape the beasts that so hungrily pursued me. I turned to see small darts begin to fly from their tails, coming strait for me. I felt tiny stings all over my body, quickly causing the point of contact to numb. I was hit in the cheek, and reached up, tenderly pulling it out. The barbs on the dart yanked on my skin, and a sickening pink ooze dripped off of it. Moments later, I realized that viscous liquid was my own blood. My legs became very weak and I collapsed, no longer able to feel the majority of my body. I felt my heart beginning to struggle, and I fought for a breath. Just as my heart slowed, nearing a stop, the small pink creatures overtook my body.

My eyes flew open, and I was blinded by the intensely bright light before me. My hand flew to my cheek, but there I found no pink discharge whatsoever. An eerie grin crept across my face, relief overcoming me after finding that the previous event had been a dream. But I felt strange, like I wasn't on the sand anymore; like I was moving. I cracked my eyelids so I could adjust, and slowly opened them to the world as if my first time. I was moving, and could see frightening pink trees flashing past beside me. I turned my head to see a bundle of pink fur below me, and jumped to an upright position, scared beyond belief of the chance it being those devilish creatures that had attacked me in what I thought had been a dream. I turned to the direction I was headed, and found myself looking strait into the pink eyes of a majestic Elkrin stag. He stopped, but I refused to break the eye contact; I wanted to overcome this irrational fear. I reached out with my right hand to his forehead, and caressed his black fur. An energy built up, and suddenly my entire body was electrified. Visions flashed before me, and I began to realize they were his memories. I could see my own eyes glowing, feel my left side itching, and my entire body tingling. I withdrew my hand gasping, awestruck by my first bonding process.

Image

I sat princess style on Aviv's back as we chatted silently about ourselves. Our minds were now connected, bonded, allowing physic communication from any distance. I felt new; stronger, faster, lighter. All my senses were heightened, and everything in the world was more vivid now. Aviv had taken me back to the pond for a much needed bath, and I had discovered a large cherry blossom tree stretched across my skin above my left hip. I brushed my hair back to find points on the tips of my ears. My feet still hurt a significant bit; until Aviv realized of course. He had me sit in the sand, and began licking them, causing the wounds to disappear instantly. I was finally healed, and stood confidently. I felt amazing, and ran back in forth down the sand, flying at imaginable speeds. I jumped what seemed to be only a couple feet, but I was launched high into the air, able to see above the treetops. I could see my house ahead, and made a map to it in a split second in my head. I shared it with Aviv, and he insisted that I hop onto his back. I did, sitting princess style once again, and he started running right away, bolting into the trees.

After a few minutes, Aviv came to a slower pace, going as if he was sight-seeing. I looked up from my hands buried in his fur to see a huge transformation before me. Many Elkrin, similar in markings to Aviv's, walked in a uniform line on either side of us, and with them the trees changed. Trees with white and brown bark stretched out with bare limbs, instantly growing green leaves and delicate pink flowers as we passed. I was suddenly aware that these were the legendary Cherry Blossom Elkrin, and I was bonded to their leader. I reached out and brushed a bare limb, flowers blooming below my fingertips. They felt silky, and tickled my hands as they grew. I was amazed; actually being able to transform this barren forest into a more beautiful place with only my bare hands. I pulled back my hand and wrapped my arms around Aviv's neck, simply enjoying the breathtaking event. We emerged from the Cherry Blossoms to see my house, standing silently on the grassy hill. My friends burst from the door, running my way as fast as they could, followed closely by their Elkrin and Runes.

I vaulted off the back of my valiant steed, sprinting for my friends and reaching them in an instant. They embraced me with arms open wide, reassuring themselves that I was truly there. Blair spoke muffled into my ear through her tears, but I could still hear her loud and clear. "I heard a crash and came down, and the glass was on the floor, and the cereal was left, and you were gone, I got so worried..." I put a hand on either side of her head and touched my forehead to hers. "I'm so sorry I worried you, but you shouldn't care for me so dearly." She embraced me yet again, stifling a sob. "You don't even know how much we care about you." Roran grabbed us both and pulled us into his chest, hugging us lovingly. I looked up at him and he gasped, falling back onto the ground. "What?!" I stepped back from Blair and looked back and forth between the two of them. "Selene... Your eyes..." Blair pulled her silver locket from her shirt and opened it, revealing a small mirror. I peered in and gasped, seeing beautiful pink eyes staring curiously back at me.

Image

Aviv approached cautiously, eyeing Blair and Roran thoughtfully. He peeked out from behind me, my slim body offering him little cover. Blair began approaching slowly, followed by her Elkrin fawn Darcy who carried her Runes, Talia and Amber. He came out from behind me, bowing majestically, in respect for my friend. I relayed the message to her that he asked me to convey. "He says he is Aviv of the pink wood, leader of the Cherry Blossom Elkrin." Her mouth dropped in awe, as well as that of Roran. Fajrina, Roran's Elkrin, helped him to his feet, allowing him to approach as well. They introduced themselves, and I demonstrated to them my heightened abilities. They were utterly amazed, and were quickly acquainted with Aviv through me. They liked him, already welcoming him into the household. I hugged his fluffy neck, and his head wrapped around mine. I held him close, and whispered in his ear. "We'll always be together."

Aviv slept by my bedside that night, and every night for ever after. I fell into a deep sleep quickly and peacefully, dreaming of wonderful things, all in which Aviv and I were together as one; it was us against the world.

Selene's Traits;;

Shy
Selene is very quiet, and often only speaks to relay messages from Aviv. She tends to stick to the shadows, and isn't social unless necessary. She doesn't like meeting new people, and doesn't really like speaking with her friends much either. She is easily put down and is very self-conscious, so she avoids this lowering of self esteem by simply excluding herself from any situation that could hurt her.

Thoughtful
Selene will sit motionless for hours, just pondering whatever comes to mind. She enjoys sharing her thoughts with Aviv, using his input in her internal conversations. They can have these silent conversations for hours, discussing casual things, as well as the best way to resolve problems they sometimes encounter in their daily lives, most of the time which are bright about by other people and Elkrin.

Shallow
Being quite attractive herself, Selene often judges people on their looks, before even actually speaking with them or meeting for the first time. This is why she doesn't like being introduced to people through letters and such, because she's uncomfortable with not being able to see the person she's communicating with. It also helps her better tell whether or not their lying, for a glance into anyone's eyes and she can tell in an instant exactly what they're thinking by peering strait through into their soul. The only thoughts she can't read are her own.

Selfish
For the most part, Selene puts herself first, except for Aviv, and occasionally, Blair and Roran. She doesn't really like people in general, and tends to favor herself. She became more kind when she bonded with Aviv, but is still somewhat attached to her own well-being. Aviv is like her other half, so despite all this, he's always put in front of her, without even the smallest thought. If she had to give her life to save Aviv, she would do it in an instant with no regret.

Loving
Although seemingly harsh on the outside, Selene truly cares for her friends and family; she just displays her affection differently from everyone else. She will, every once and a while, throw a kind gesture or compliment at them, just to let them know she's listening or that she truly loves them. She feels like she gives her friends the cold shoulder too often, and shouldn't because of the kindness they show to her all of the time.

Selene wrote:When I slept in the night, I stepped into a world of wonder, where pink surrounds me and consumes my every move, my every thought; I'll never leave, it's a beautiful terror.

Final Art Credits;;

Name:
Haru
Spring... A time of awakening, energy, and life. A time of new beginnings. And what better time for a new beginning with our world...
The world of Eldemore.

Breedable:
Yes

Extra:
Personality:
.:.Cocky.:.
Confident to a fault, you will never see Haru thinking he's not going to succeed at something, regardless of what it is.
.:.Arrogant.:.
Going hand in hand with his over-confident nature, Haru thinks he's the best at everything, regardless of whether it's even something he's capable of doing.
.:.Imaginative.:.
While it's not always a good thing (He still insists that he can fly, for instance), Haru has a very vivid imagination, which can make for amusing stories that he insists are true. Of course, when it spills over into his actual thought process, it usually ends with him hurting himself.
.:.Creative.:.
Working side by side with his overactive imagination, Haru can be very creative. You'd be amazed by what he can do when motivated.
.:.Lazy.:.
...Of course, that motivation is incredibly rare. The only real way to get him to do anything consistently is to challenge him or tell him 'I bet you can't _______!'
.:.Intelligent.:.
Despite how he acts, Haru knows quite a lot about the world. If you ask him something, chances are he knows at least a little about the subject. Of course, he's not likely to give you a straight answer...
.:.Cloudcuckoolander.:.
Haru's head isn't really screwed on quite right. He seems to live in his own little world, where up is down, left is right, squares are circles, and he is you. IHe's certainly intelligent, don't get me wrong... He's just... Special.

Art:
Image
The Goddess Hana and the Elkrin Haru, racing across the land and bringing a new beginning to another world alongside the world of Eldemore.

Story:
The Elkrin stag grinned confidently. Rumors had been flying lately. Rumors of a strange creature, described as being like a plant and a wolf at the same time. Rumors of a strange girl not of their world running by the plant-wolf's side. Rumors of a strange pink sprite not unlike a firelight fly acting as their guide.

He wasn't scared. So many of the others had chosen to go even deeper into hiding upon learning of these tales. But that was all they were - Even he, with an imagination as great as it was, was certain of that.

Indeed, he wasn't scared. Why, he had even made the tales worse - A simple task, for one with such creativity. And so he claimed that the plant-wolf, its master, and their guide, had been spotted attacking and killing others of their kind - Wolves were carnivorous, after all, and when they got hungry...

This, of course, had caused the others so much fear that they refused to leave their homes, giving him a perfect opportunity to prance about, acting 'brave' and 'heroic', as he thought. The others simply called him foolish and stupid for romping about when there were supposedly dangerous creatures about.

Of course, by the time he'd finally meet the group, he would have forgotten that he was the one who started the rumors of their killings in the first place.

- - -

"I'm telling you, guys, we're lost."

"No we aren't, Momi! I know just where we're going!" Hana insisted.

"I told you not to call me that!" the sprite exclaimed, glow changing from pink to bright red as she hopped angrily on the goddess' nose.

"Could you two quit fighting?" the girl asked, strolling calmly alongside them. "And Hana, I think Momiji's right. You aren't even a deity of this world, and you get lost walking around the block in the world where you are, anyway."

The flowery wolf grumbled. "You guys are no fun..." She shook her head violently, flinging the Poncle to the ground.

"Hey!" she exclaimed, rolling back to her feet and bouncing repeatedly into the side of the wolf's face.

"Why are we even here, anyway?" Hana asked her human. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I love running around and all, but still."

The girl shrugged. "You said you were getting bored of only getting to go outside during spring at home, and you were getting bored of running around where we live, so I figured, why not try a world where your powers don't work? Or at least a word where it's already spring," she added, glancing at a cherry tree to her right. It was in full bloom, petals bright pink against the blue of the sky. "Plus, I figured it would be cool to see another world, you know."

It was then that the Elkrin saw them.

And it was then that they saw him.

They locked eyes for a moment, and then...

"Oh god oh god oh god I'm gonna die!" he screeched, bolting away.

Garnet stared blankly for a moment. "...What just happened?"

"...I have no idea," the wolf responded. She paused. "I'm gonna go find out!"

"Wait, Hana, no!" But she had already run off, leaving the girl and the sprite to chase after her.

- - -

"You saw them?!" one of the Elkrin exclaimed as he reported what he saw.

"Yeah, they were just over those hills! The plant-wolf was at least the size of a young doe, maybe bigger, and there was this weird glowing ball bouncing on her nose, and there was a girl riding on the plant-wolf!" the stag insisted. "And I think they saw me-"

"They what?!" one exclaimed.

"Oh, no, they probably followed him!" another yelled.

"I have children, though!" a female called. "We can't let them find us! Are you insane? You led them right here!"

"Yeah, Haru! You're always going on about how you're better than everyone, so go do something about it!"

"What?! Me, go out there?! Are you insane?!"

"It's either you go out there or we all die! Pick one!"

"I bet he's scared silly at the thought!"

"What?! Hey, I am not! You want me to go out there and beat up a plant monster and it's rider? Fine! Watch me! And when I do, you'll all be on your knees, worshiping me!" Haru yelled, running out of the small area of woods. "I'll show them, I will-" he muttered, sprinting to the edge, where he screeched and reared to a stop upon seeing the wolf sitting and waiting for him. "Ah! Oh god, it can run as fast as we can, too!"

The wolf tilted her head. "Um... Hiya! I'm Hana! And who're you?"

"It talks! Oh, this is getting better and better!" he exclaimed, panic clear in his voice.

Hana was quiet for a moment, apparently thinking about his comment. "Well... I'm a goddess, albeit not one from around here, so it's not too surprising that I can talk. You, on the other hand are some... Deer-thing, I guess? So unless you're a deity, too, like the goddess of fall-"

"Hey hey hey. I ain't no deer, alright? I'm an Elkrin. El-krin. Got it?" he snapped back. Then he realized that he just snapped at a supposedly murderous plant-wolf. "Oh god oh god I'm sorry please don't hurt me!"

The wolf was quiet. "Well, I wasn't gonna hurt you in the first place..." she mumbled. "...You seem pretty fast," she stated. "Want to race? If you beat me, I'll make sure Momi doesn't freak out or anything at you," she offered. Before he could respond, she was on her feet and turning back. "Betcha can't beat me!"

The Elkrin, being as lazy as he was, didn't particularly want to race, of course, but if it ensured the safety of his herd, then so be it. Besides, nobody challenged him and got away with it! "You're on!"

And off they ran.

- - -

"I... Hate... Running..." Garnet mumbled, panting.

"Oh, please. You walked most of the way," Momiji snarked at her from atop her head.

"Same difference!" She looked up from where she was walking, only to see a pair of spots in the distance what were growing at an alarming rate. She squinted at them. "Is that..?"

She didn't have time to confirm her suspicions before they were right on top of her - Literally, as unfortunate as it was for the girl.

"Please get off me!" she gasped at the Elkrin and wolf sprawled out on top of her.

Momiji rolled onto her feet and hopped over to where the group was piled up, glowing red. "Hey! What was that about, huh?! You knocked me off her head, you huge, lumbering, stupid, deer-thing!"

"Oh god, it's the others!" the Elkrin yelled, rising as best he could. "I'm sorry I'm sorry please don't hurt me-"

"You better hope you still have all your organs when I'm-"

"Momi, quit it! He's nice! He's my friend! Hana interrupted, hopping off the Elkrin's back.

"...What." the entire group stated flatly in response.

"N-Not that there's a problem with that, of course!" Haru exclaimed. "...You don't kill the people you call friends, right?" he asked, fearful.

"...No, that's something that's usually frowned upon where we come from," Garnet stated flatly.

"...Oh. O-Okay, good!" he exclaimed. "So... I'm Haru, and, um... You don't actually... Kill people, do you?"

The group stared flatly at him. "Not... Not really, no," Garnet confirmed.

"Oh, okay! Good, good. Whew! That's a relief. You should have told me that from the beginning." He nodded a few times.

"...We'll be sure to keep that in mind for next time, then?" the girl said, more of a question than a statement.

"Well, I'm good with this!" Hana exclaimed. "Let's go home! You're coming with us, right, Haru?"

"What?"

"Oh, all of Xena's friends live with her! It's kind of her thing."

"I said to call me Garnet from now on, Hana..."

"...You're certain you won't kill me?"

"...Yeah..."

"...Okay then."

Garnet raised a hand. "Can I sit on your back?"

The Elkrin was quiet. "...I guess?"

Before he could say anything else, she was sitting on him. "Yes! I hate walking."

"...Well then."

And with that, Haru headed off to a new world, his (rather strange) companions at his side, and his (even stranger) rider on his back. He would be back, of course, but with this girl on his back, he knew one thing for certain - He belonged to two worlds now.

He was running. That was all he could think of. Running towards something, something important… or maybe…someone important? Whatever it was he had to get there or else bad things would happen. He wasn't sure what, but his heart was tight and this extreme feeling of distress made him move faster. It was a tunnel, a dark tunnel with no way in and no way out. He knew in the back of his head that there was a light at the end of the tunnel, which freedom was calling out to him. He made his feet move faster, yet they wouldn't listen to him. Slowly they grew heavier and heavier, as if someone was placing pounds and pounds of lead in his legs.
Eventually he couldn't move, pulling his legs forward with all of his might they still wouldn't comply. This was ridiculous, they were his legs! They were supposed to move when he tells them to! Letting out a frustrated breath he looked up into the far depths of the tunnel; in the blind darkness there was….a light? A small glowing light that felt warm, a golden light that filled his body with new-found warmth he never felt before! He wanted more of the small warm golden light! He needed more of it!
Clenching he teeth and cursing he forced his legs to move again, he was determined to claim that light and nothing was stopping him! Making his was slowly to his prize he felt beads of sweat form at the crown of his head. He was able to get a few good steps in before he felt a liquidy kind of texture at the bottom of his feet. It was weird, because soon after he couldn't feel the soles of his feet against the hard ground. Not to mention how the world suddenly seemed to grow higher and higher. He wouldn't look down; he didn't want to look down because he knew it wouldn't be good. But seeing as how he wasn't getting any closer to the light he didn't have a choice.
Tilting his head downwards he felt his eyes bulge out of his sockets. He legs were melting like wax at such a rapid pace his knees was already losing their shape. A liquid pool of what used to be leg, muscle and bone was growing and growing by the second. Now officially agreeing with himself that this was completely illogical and impossible, he came to the realization that this was just a dream and nothing more. But even so that small golden light still made him want to reach it. Even when he knows it's impossible to grab it, even when he knows it's going to be a difficult journey to claim it. He wants it. He wants it with all of his power and he's going to get it.
Willing his body to regain back its shape he began to move again, he felt the power of his legs slowly rejuvenate and soon enough he began to run. No, running would be too slow, sprinting! Yeah, sprinting sounded more efficient. Sprinting with all of his might he saw the small golden light growing bigger and bigger. The everlasting warmth growing stronger making his whole body heat up in contentment. But that wasn't enough, he wanted the whole thing. He needed to feel that warmth in his cold hands because he knows it's what he yearns for. His body is practically screaming for that light. Making a giant leap he reaches out for the light, now burning with intensity it fries the skin beneath his fur. His hand is within an inch of the light-
And then he wakes up.

The male Elkrin slowly raises his head, blinking in confusion. He didn't recall falling asleep... Now did he recall laying in a field of Sakura petals.
Sakura petals? But they don't grow as flowers. They grow off of trees...
Harunoyoru looks up only to release a gasp. Above him are the most gorgeous cherry-blossom trees, all in full bloom.
