Damon let out another sigh and kissed Charlie softly for a brief second. " Thank You Charlie..." he murmured grateful that he was given what seemed like a second chance. " I would say I care about you too, but what I did earlier would suggest otherwise huh?" he said, bitting his own lower lip.

"no, I forgive and forget easily," Charlie smiles at Damon.

"why's that?" Damon asked curiously.

"because if I don't, anger will burden my shoulders and I might not miss the neck bottle thrown at my head. Anger slows us down and doesn't allow up to live as we were meant to. Besides, I could hardly stay mad at someone as cute as you are." Charlie says.

DAmon blushed at his compliment, but he tried to ignore it. Only it was all he could think about. His stupid blushing. " How can you see things so clearly and seem to be able to explain the unexplained?" he asked.

"Because I've seen my fair share of horrors in this world. I take nothing and no one for granted and never get too attached to any one thing so people can't use it against me. I've lived that way for years knowing that the air I breathe could be easily taken away on a whim. I just see things differently." Charlie says softly.

"Well its truly enlightening... You should really consider writing a book about it sometime...." Damon said in a soft tone as he gently pushed back Charlied fringe from his eyes. "You should also get a hair cut..." he teased playfully with a smirk before gently placing a kiss on his forehead.

"I am not getting a haircut," Charlie says back, just as playfully.

Damon snorted, "well it was worth a shot." he chuckled while rolling his eyes.

Charlie kisses Damon's cheek, "I will trim it if you want but I don't want it shorter than my shoulders."
