many people seem to have that logic^^^^^^^^^^^^^ but with wolf hunters
That is rude. Well if you hunt wolves to eat them and use the WHOLE wolf thats ok but they need food they hunt rabbits because rabbits are inosint creatures and easyist to get (no affence to rabbits) and they are not called buneeez they are called rabbits.^^wolves should not be killed!!!! wolves are more important in then food chain then "buneez". Oh and some good advice if you are hating on wolves and saying bad things don't post it on a 'NO hunting wolves support ' topic don't post it on here. maybe you should make your own topic to hate on wolves on. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ BTW Rabbits are considered pests where i live and are poisoned^^
omg i liek ttly agree wit u rabbits r horribad pests and all nud 2 die before they overpapayalate n kill evrytng

Nothing is more important than anything else on the food chain. IF anything were to be more important, it'd be the herbivorous prey animals like rabbits as their diets are less wasteful than a meat diet and more efficient to sustain, making them more viable in more areas. Carnivores by nature are much more restricted in this. That doesn't mean they should be killed for it, however, because as said, we need the carnivores to balance out the herbivores as much as we need the herbivores to balance out the plant/fungus/insect growth.
As for the rest, I believe the topic knows my opinions ;]

I don't know why, but I find it wrong to hunt a predator.
Deer, rabbits, fowl and such are all prey. They were put on this earth to be eaten by other creatures. However, animals such as wolves, lions, tigers, eagles, and other predators were meant to hunt, not be hunted.
When an animal doesn't have a true predator, that hunts it solely for the purpose of eating it, then it shoild not be hunted by humans. It's not right. It throws the balance of the food chain off kilter, in my opinion. I find it to be sick to hunt another predator.

can we not keep bringing up these condescending words like 'sick' 'disgusting' etc. though i mean is that really necessary
@ zima - wolves, lions, bears, and other predators will kill other predators in a second if they come into contact with them.
lions for example have been known to kill leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and any other competition they can get their paws on even though said animal was not posing a threat to them and is extremely young more often than not. nature really isn't 'balanced' at all once you think about it - only the best species thrive, and the others simply die out. everything kills and/or gets killed, whether indirectly or not, and i don't see why predators should be an exception. they're not worth more than any other 'prey' animal, so why give them special treatment and protection?

Lets just makes this clear...
You say there is an overpopulation of predators. Coyotes, snakes, animals such as that.
Yet, have you looked at the human race?
There are seven billion of us. We are taking up all the resources of the earth, and all we seem to do is kill. We are an extremely overpopulated race. Does that mean its okay to kill people? Of course not.
Also, coyotes rarely prey on children. When they do, it's because their territory and food has been run out by humans and they are extremely hungry, or they have a disease of some sort, which is something that can't be helped, sadly.

some cientists actually argue that humans aren't really overpopulated, but rather, we have been able to increase our carrying capacity enough to support a very large amount of us.
and does the fact that humans can also be considered overpopulated justify letting animals suffer due to starvation and disease among other problems? of course not.
and it's actually not too rare for coyotes to attack humans in places where they're overpopulated. coyotes are naturally timid scavengers, yes, but when they lose their fear of humans they can be pests at their best, and deadly at worst.

Humans were meant to dominate the earth, though.
That's why we have more extensive abilities and more complex feelings then say a bear or a cat.
We are taking resources, but we need those to thrive and prosper.
We can't just stop humans from repopulating, and therefore we need more resources to build more settlements for more people.
"All we do is kill"...? To survive, yes. Just as wolves do. To be honest, wolves kill a heck of a lot more than we do and they do it to survive as well. Basically every carnivore animal you can think of kills to survive.
I agree with you on the coyotes thing, though.
They usually don't attack humans: they are more afraid of us then we are of them.

We humans have a form of population control actually. While yes we do have a huge population you forget natures form of population control - disease, starvation, old age, and so on. We also have wars, murderers, suicide, accidental deaths, etc... Wild animals are in no way the only animals being killed... People seem to forget that. And you also forget population control is beneficial. No I don't believe we should kill eachother obviously, but that doesn't take away the fact reducing our populations is beneficial. At least we can do animals that favor.
And coyotes do attack people, perhaps more often due to a disease like rabies, but diseased or not it happens.

✨ Everything I have on CS is for sale for Flightrising! Desperately looking for the familiars above. ✨
