Silence / 15 / Raised by Wolves / Shalbriri Pack - Lead HunterThe Taken girl pondered over what he said, remembering a place similar to what he'd described. She grimaced upon remembering that it wasn't on their pack lands, and was, in fact, on one of the others' territories. Silence shook her head, " Not here. " she answered hesitantly, " But we can look. " she added, smiling slightly at him as she adjusted her knife belt.
Tempest smiles and looks up from the water, from her paws and begins to speak, her eyes finding his and flitting away shyly. "Once many many moons ago before our great-great-Great grandfathers found this forest and claimed it as thiers there was monsters and majic...a fire-drake from the south rose up, angry that man held the riches and devistated everything in its path, taking riches, killing livestock, stealing maidens...and burning everything. The humans, they tried to fight it, but for every one that rose up...a village would fall. At that time wolves were feared and reveared for their hunting skills and their voices, but they had no Gifts. A white wolf with the darkest, deepest eyes watched as her home burned, took it upon herself to stop the Dragon, so she (her name was Alu) went to a human village that was mostly burned away...and found a greif wounded boy-child who's father had been teaching him to be a blacksmith...She taught him the language of wolves, and he taught her human-words. After a few moons he made her armor and she leaped to fight..."
Storm yawns, gains his paws and streaches in silence before shaking sand from his dark pelt. "The dawn comes Cassiel." he tells the other sleeping male. "Arise! We have too travel." he calls from the narrow path leading from moon-ledge. "It is still dark but no meals are caught in the day." he lightly chuckles and calls again.
James places a last ripe peach in his carry-sack of nuts, a fish, and that bothersome squirrel with apparent pride. And lopes toward the Shadow-Pack lands with an air of hopeful sadness. "Awwoooo!Yahwoo?" cries the adopted child of wolves. His feet take him to the boarders...and stop respectfully waiting for a responce from Silence. "Awooooo...?"
Seige's Remorse awakens when a blue-jay cheekilly calls out by her ear and then drops a pine-cone on her head. Then yawning and shaking out her pelt she strides for the creek to get a drink. Today...today would be better that yesterday..and Fire...no...he would probably still be sleeping...so, Breakafast...A nice trout or a plump rabbit...
