Silverstorm nodded. "Sounds good." She said sitting down next to Blackhaze. "No extreme damage. I slammed into a rock before letting go o-" silverstorm cut heraldry off. She blanked herself for letting gingerfrost fall. She could have held on but the rock had been crushing her ribs. "But I'm sure its nothing I cant handle." She said smiling to make sure blackhaze wouldn't worry.

Skypaw looked up at the warriors and smiled nervously. "I-Im fine." She said in a soft tone that was almost to soft to be heard.

Blackhaze nodded to Skypaw and licked Silverstorm's ear. "Sometimes there's nothing to be done." he murmured sadly. He let his tail rest over her back and bowed his head in respect for Gingerfrost.

Silverstorm smiled weakly at Blackhazes comfort. Though not even her mates sympathy could ease her guilty thoughts.

Skypaw sat down and wrapped her white tail tightly around her paws.

Brokenstar pads to Sunshine, his face stern. "I'm afraid Cherrykit won't become an apprentice til she is eight moons." He informs her. "She is too small."

"What? But... But look, she's trying so hard to be like the other kits..." said Sunshine in shock and defense. Cherrykit was perfect, just like her other kits. Wasn't she?

Cherrykit smiled at her brother, then cocked her head, trying to figure out how to join in. She looked around, grabbing a stick and trotting up to Twilightkit. It felt really big in her mouth, and she went with her chin in the air to keep it off the ground. She dropped it at Twilightkit's feet, then looked up at the bigger kit with an excited face. "Want to play?" she asked in a small voice that seemed to come with the size of her body. She nudged it towards her, ready to take her end and break off as much as she could.

"Sure!" Twilightkit took an end in her jaws. "Ready?" she asked.

Shadowpaw pricked up his ears. "That's unfair though, by the time she becomes an apprentice, Nutkit and Redkit will way ahead in training! Plus, I was once that size." He said puffing out his broad light cream chest.

"And what about Skypaw?" Questioned Sunshine indignantly. "She barely ever even talks."

Cherrykit took her end and got ready to break off her end, her small paws splayed out as she braced herself.
