Damon smirked at the sound of his voice," fruit salad sound appealing?" he asked with a small chuckle finding humor in his voice.

Charlie stopped, "I'll meet you in the cafeteria, I need to go get something." He turns a corner to go to his room.

Damon stopped," you sure?" he asked feeling as if he had done something wrong....

Charlie disappears into his room. He puts his back against the door and tried to calm down. Trapped in his past again, it haunted him. It was just a scratch, Damon would be fine. But that wasn't what was bothering him now was it. Damon at laughed at Charlie, he should have known better than to show weakness to him. He hated being laughed at. He'd been laughed at his entire life. He thought he'd never let anyone laugh at him again. But he wasn't in the state of mind to start a fight and he liked Damon. He sat on the floor and dropped his head onto his hands.

Damon stood in place trying to comprehend what had happened, and sighed after a moment. He made his way alone down the empty halls left with the confusion of the entire situation. He hadn't meant to upset Charlie.... Did he? Was Charlie planning something? Why would he just disappear like that? Damon lost his appetite quickly and once at the cafeteria simply sad down once more thinking.

Charlie gets up after a while and heads to the cafeteria. He gets an apple and sits across from Damon. "Did you eat already?" Charlie sounede much more in control now.

Damon looked up from the table as he saw Charlie sit down. "yha..." he lied not really hungry now anyways.

"Liar," Charlie says but doesn't do anything about it. He was only playing with the apple anyway. Trying to get it to spin without wobbling or bruising itself.

Damon opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. "Does it matter?" he asked watching the apple spin distantly, wondering how Charlie even knew.
