Ashcloud nodded, getting to get paws. He didn't know they'd done so much already, but that was to be expected. She stayed close to Pineclaw, not knowing the area well. She looked around, taking in all the sights and sounds that were so unfamiliar to her. She breathed in deeply, inhaling his sent and the seats around her. "Did Shiverwhisker and Spiderpaw survive?" she asked, knowing that if they did, the grey medicine cat would want to check her over for anything the needed to be treated. It was just a relief to her that she was home again, and that her friend was still alive.

Wooly looked up at him, still purring quietly. Something felt odd though. Lik te land they were on wasn't theirs. No matter. They'd make it theirs. She lifted her head up, licking his nose affectionatly. For the first tme in moons, things were right. Perfect even. "Thank you." she whispered for no reason in particular, rubbing her cheek against his shoulder.

( I have all of my cats open. Sunpelt and Cloudstrike are on a little hunting patrol in attempts to make Cloudstrike stop worrying about Frostwing. They could run into some cat, if anyone wanted.)

Mousepaw

A small but broad-
shouldered brown tabby
with amber eyes.

Mousepaw saw Songpaw slip past her, making the jump easily. She shook her head lightly, trying to escape the fear that froze her limbs. She stared at the branch, trying to focus on nothing else. Her tail lashed behind her. Not giving herself time to change her mind, she jumped. For a split second she hung in the air, her heart skipping a beat. Then she hit the branch, which bounced slightly under her weight. She grabbed at it desperately, clinging to the bark. The branch stilled, and she let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. Okay. She watched Songpaw slowly descending below her, and quickly followed, not stopping long enough to let fear latch onto her again.

Songbrook
Slowly making her way down the tree from branch to branch, Songpaw thought about what would happen if they both fell down on the tree. Forgetting that thought, she made her way down to the next branch.
