They were going to make a live action Halo movie but the decided not to make it saying that people wouldn't watch it and they wouldn't gain a good amount of money from it.
This was before Forward Unto Dawn was made, and they're most likely kicking themselves after seeing how many people loved Forward Unto Dawn.

I saw the first 5 or so seconds of it on a Nintendo Direct video, then skipped to some Zelda 3DS stuff.
I didn't know it would happen either. XD

When you mention live action I recall my boyfriend actually bringin' up something about it before Forward Unto Dawn.. man I had no idea though. They should be beating themselves up over it. It would have been awesome! D;
