Adopt a Newbie - Moving to new thread

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Well, I remember when I first joined CS the only thing I did was adopt pets every month because I didn't know how to navigate my way around CS. I know that I wish I had someone. But now, I'm on a lot and I would love to share my knowledge with a new/inexperienced user.
How often do you get on CS?: Everyday
Which categories would you like to apply for?: General Knowledge, Forums, Trading and Pets, and Rares List (Can't hurt to try I suppose)
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: Anywhere from 1-4 hours, depending on how busy I am
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Oh yes, of course!

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I am a fairly old member on CS (on my third year now!) and I feel like I know my way around pretty well. I would love to help a newbie, and I think this is a wonderful idea. :3
How often do you get on CS?: At least once a day, unless under odd circumstances. (vacations, etc.)
Which categories would you like to apply for?: General Knowledge
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: It varies, but most likely 1 hour + (sometimes WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much. XD)
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! Although, a disclaimer to any newbie who gets me: Be prepared for LOTS of references used and random crazy comments. (If you don't get them, just ignore me. XD)

I have 16849 forum posts, 233 oekakis (w/ 1 feature), lots of trades, and my BrackenClan V.2 RP and Invite Only Star Wars V.3 RP

Scene- Hunter, my main character is about to face a tsunami with her husband, Thomas.
[Sorry, I'm not good at scenes or plots, I just role play. I hope this does not effect my chances.]
Hunter sat quietly on her couch in her small condo, by the water. She usually felt or heard the water slosh up onto her deck, but this time, it was especially loud. Hunter heard an unpleasant wave crash against the side of her house. She stood up, careful not to hurt her dress on anything. She turned on her light, then her radio, which was just a small box, hung under her cabinets with the time labeled 5:27 PM while it was really 10:18 AM. As she turned the radio on, she immediately heard an emergency weather alert. Unfortunately, she turned the radio on too late. The voice was already into the message. "-Tsunami warning in..." She heard him state 'Lily pad Ocean St.' Which was the street across the road. She raced upstairs, tripping and falling as her house rocked back and forth. She crawled the rest of the way up her steps. "Wake up! WAKE UP!" She shrieked, pushing her husband out of bed. Thomas woke up. "What?!" Hunter, too doubtful, ran him downstairs, pointing out the window. "Tsunami.." She whispered. "HOLY SH*T!" He yelled. He hugged Hunter tight, running to the attic, out of breath. He pushed open a hatch. "We should be safe up here." Hunter frowned. "LIAR! We are in a condo, by the water. Jump and run!" She cried. The water was rising fast, almost to the top of some of the Palm Trees. Thomas frowned, but obeyed. He jumped, wading through the water as he watched for Hunter. She jumped a minute after him, but stumbled, fell and rolled into Thomas. He fell forwards, but got up, his nose bloodied from landing on a pointed rock. "Get up, woman!" He yelled.

[Is this acceptable? I kind of cut it off because I think this is long enough.]
