Christians on CS!

So, my Mum is one of them OMG God Christians, and she puts her heat on him all the time. And, so, she got me this bible, but I hardly read it because I am too busy and I am always reading my warriors series, so she always asks me if i read it and she asks me to read it, and I am like "but mum...." And also she buys me all of these God and Jesus songs, but I am too bust listening to the latest hits and pop songs. how do i tell my mum I am not really interested in all that stuff with out hurting her? I mean, i do love God and all, but all that stuff she buys me is, you know, not my thing.

Well, I often struggle to find time for god and stop listening to the latest stuff out there. So you are not alone. I would suggest that you find a christain band that you like and ask her to buy you their songs instead of stuff you may never listen too. And about the bible I would suggest reading proverbs, my favorite book of the bible, it has 31 chapters and you can read a chapter a day and be done in a month if you want to.

You don't have to listen to Christian music to be a Christian. I actually don't listen to Christian music at all, not because I don't like the lyrics. Just because of the beat of most of the music. But yes I suggest reading Proverbs also ^_^

Hiya! This is my first time posting here but I guess I will answer your question.
1. I believe in God because, well I guess this explains it pretty good," For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
2.I know he exsists because he has preformed miracles for me more than once(and answered prayers) and the Bible says he is real and I believe it.

Hope that answers your question. If you want to talk more just PM me!!! I am a Baptist by the way and I believe in the Trinity but some denominations do not.

Also I was going to ask everybody for prayers for my friend and I. My friend broke her wrist on her birthday and then had to have surgery yesterday. I have been feeling bad lately because of allergies and what not I will appreciate the prayers!

That is a difficult question for me, because being raised in a Christian household, I just grew up as believing it as common sense. I've always known God just as I've grown up knowing my parents and knowing they were real. And many times he's helped us out and provided for us. He's always there, and he always answers my prayers somehow, so I've never doubted him. But I do have some real proof behind his existence, other than the miracles he has done for me. There is historical proof that Jesus came to Earth. No one can prove that he was God, but there is proof of what he did, and that he came back to life, and no human can do such a thing without God. Did you know the stretch between the first manuscript and the first copy of the New Testament, (I think that was it) was something like 50 years? Whereas the next closest book was a few hundred years. A while ago they found one of the first copies of one of the books in the dead sea, and it matched up nearly perfectly with what we have now, so I've never doubted my Bible. It's the real thing. And if the Bible says God is real, it must be. Historically, it is correct.
