I do archery^^ I recently got my own bow, and we are in an archery club that is only about an hour from where we live. It is a lot of fun, I think my favorite thing to do is shoot at the 3-D animal targets!

Really? XD I don't have a bow yet, but I want one. Hopefully I can get one before I go to Alaska in the summer. :3 Then I'd be able to practice archery full time. :3

Yep! I chose to go with a compound bow, but I shoot it as a barebow ( no sights at all ). I also do not use a clip to shoot it, I just use my fingers, I kind of think that regular compound bows are just a cheat sheet to easy shooting xD It would definitely be great to get your own bow because that way you can pretty much shoot whenever, plus you don't have to worry about borrowing one or something^^

Lol, that sounds awesome! 8D
I just need my parents' permission for a bow.
The bows I used in archery class aren't compound, but they sure are super heavy. XP
I can barely tug back a thirty pound drawstring.

Oi, 30 pounds sounds like a lot! My compound bow goes up to 20 pounds, but the 20 pound draw on my compound is much heavier feeling than the 20 pound draw on a recurve that I used to shoot XP I cannot really imagine using a 30 pound bow!

At the camp I go to, they have 10 pounders and they are so different! They are plastic (I, for some reason can't stand using plastic bows. I love the wooden ones), and for an arrow rest twigs have been taped to them. I used a 15 my first year, and I think I use between a 20 or 25 now.
